akhliber: A big mood day doesn't sound half bad. I'll keep to my small doses until the time seems right for a switch.
In the mean time, some coffee. The one thing I'll currently make an exception on the "small doses" rule for. ;)
Fair enough, we wouldn't want to push you into a big mood day when you are still all set for a small mood day. :-)

Quick question for you: I know that you have mentioned before that you enjoy playing games with your partner, but can you recall any of the other regulars here mentioning they have someone to play local-coop with?

Good morning. =)

Can't complain here, hope your day's starting off well.

Thank you very much for the info regarding the game, it's much appreciated. =)
Any thoughts on some of the games that are on the upcoming tab?

ddickinson: That is very true.

Do you think you will back the new System Shock game, or will you just wait until the final product comes here, or are you not too bothered about it?
I probably won't. I've only backed one game before, that being the new Battletech.

I've spent more money than I ever thought I would on completed games. Spending money on ones before they're finished would be too much of a trap.

Right now, I've got 5 System Shock runs to do. (1 classic, 1 updated, and the three runs of System Shock 2.) That'll keep me busy until the full game gets released. I'll buy it then.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but why three runs on System Shock 2? I own the game, but I have never played it.
This is the Police, I first saw on Steam a few weeks ago. Wishlisted it then, will be buying it on GOG since it'll be available.

Tyranny is Obsidian's next big RPG, so I'm all over that.

Necropolis is the latest from Harebrained Schemes, the people who do the Shadowrun games and the company developing the new Battletech title. I'll be grabbing that as well.

The rest, I don't know anything about.

Thank you for the answer. They are all kind of new to me, although I don't know too much about them. Since I am on my no buying bad I have seen little point in checking out new games, it is hard enough not just removing all those form my list and just making do with what I have, but I promised I wouldn't, so the least I can do is just not add more to it. :-)

-laughs- You're almost there. Just keep repeating that to yourself.

Out of curiosity, how many GOG games do you have, if you don't mind my asking?

I don't mind. Well if you include the games I bought to play with family that maybe are not exactly my kind of game if I was playing alone, then about 400 according to the number on the shelf, but I think that is after the unbundling, I am not too sure. So I still have many games to play, so it is not like I even need new games. :-)

400...that's adorable. ;)

Seriously though, you're right. That's plenty of stuff, you don't need to ditch all common sense and grab hundreds more.

It would have been a lot less if it was up to me and if it just had games for me on it. :-)

And you are right, but to be honest I found it hard to make my wishlist as it is, so hundreds more would be very unlikely. While there are many games that look interesting, there are few I feel like I have to own or really want to play for sure. Most I can happily pass up as I know I have lots of other things to do so I won't miss not owning those games. Maybe if I ever get the majority of my backlog completed I will be more open to more games, but I kind of doubt it. I have lots of things to occupy my time, and games are only a small part of it, so I don't really need to be one of those connoisseurs who collects games on here and on Steam. :-)

zeogold: The name of the title might indicate the reason.
Or you can go with my personal theory that your husband is a wizard.
If I were you, I'd just say that you wore the boss down to the point that he dropped dead just as your husband sat down. It was all you. Totally.
You bring up a very valid point, it could have been that I saved up all the luck for him to use. And it's very ironic you say he's a wizard, because his gamertag is Merlin. XD

CarrionCrow: -laughs- I can see why you'd be just a teensy bit frustrated/baffled having that happen...

Can't complain here. Up to my eyeballs in games, and looking at another 10 or more to add on before the sale ends.
haha Thanks. Even more games?! I keep eyeing the sale as well, but I really shouldn't buy any more games!

That's funny. If I hadn't stopped grabbing crap just because it was cheap, I'd have a lot more.

Nothing wrong with that. After a while, you end up squarely in "I'm going to need years to finish all this" territory.
Hell, even with all the crap I have, I know there are people with over a thousand more on top of thousands from Steam who've got me beat silly in the cyberhoarder department.
This one I just heard about in the "Unofficially Confirmed thread" a few days ago and like the sound of it. The screenshots up today make it look fantastic - love the management bits and "text questing" + investigations.

As long as it has gameplay and it's not a TellTale type game wrapped around some fake gameplay I'm pretty sure I'll be in!

Not a problem. =)

Yep. Looking at 18 more presently. It was at 17, but since you mentioned Luckslinger, I took a look, then added it.
Thank you. ;)
9 more besides, but they're more expensive. Odds of picking them up were low to begin with, but with other stuff popping up out of the blue, it probably won't happen.
