But I'm wondering where the reqs come from. Must have missed them when I quickly scrolled over the kickstarter page.
I mean, yes they are on the demo page, but they already said that is just an impression and everything, so I would not count them as the final one for the game.

moonshineshadow: *big you are being generous hug* Nice offer. So that means you have the other games right? Did you play them? Because I played the first one and did not have much fun, so I'm looking for opinions on the other two :D
I have one, but ever played it.
I can have the final cut edition for a bit less than 2 euros, given the credits i already have.
Are you interested ?.... you'll make me so happy !!! :))))

Well, I could get it myself for 90% off ;-)
*big declining hug*
Just tried 3 different credit cards and all 3 were declined, finally had to use my debit card to make a small GOG purchase. This anti-fraud stuff is getting a bit carried away. :/

The games are balanced for co-op.
Had a bad time single player, am enjoying playing it co-op with Zeo.

Easy solution, just tell us what game you are interested in next time :P

You are a very lovely, but hopeless, ninja.
*big hug*
Has anyone checked out Balrum yet? I've been watching it for a while and get the impression it tries to do so many things it has wound up as an unbalanced mess.
More farming/building sim than RPG, which is sad, it has/had great promise.
I think I finally realised why my sleeping patter has been messed up over these last few months. Anyway, good evening, lovely Fredonians! I hope you are all having a lovely evening?

*hugs, waves, and cake!*

GhostwriterDoF: It's true that developers don't seem to optimize their designs and gameplay as much. The new PC systems give
them some play in that. It is hard to make a game a visual masterpiece and keep it small as well. Image files
don't compress well. My own mod for BF2 grew to over 3gigs with added textures for vehicles and uniforms...
I know, but sometimes you see a game that looks like game X and requires twice the specs, yet there seems to be no difference. I guess that is the difference between an optimised game and a unoptimised game. I mean that in regards to the coding as well as the graphics.

CarrionCrow: It wasn't intentional. Still trying to stop doing it all together.

It's a totally different world, as far as making games goes. Shadow of Mordor is really big and has a ton of stuff. So the size does make sense. But games like Last Crusade show that good titles aren't required to be large.

Haven't played a lot of it, but it looks interesting so far. It'll take a bit to get the hang of it, it's close to Batman Arkham combat, but there are enough additions to add to the learning curve.
Well... okay, I will let you off, this time. :-)

That makes sense. I have heard people compare Mordor to Arkham, although I am not quite sure what the combat system is like. I also have heard people talk about a Nemesis (I think it is called that) system in Mordor that many seemed to enjoy, something about enemies that kill you get traits, and you can hunt them down for revenge, unless I am remembering it wrong.

Vnlr: Hello DD and Ghostwriter!!

I always find that amusing too. My dad was last busy reciting the ancient pc's his own father owned after they first became available. He also recalled how the whole of his university had a "wooow" moment when they heard the libraries' pc's were being upgraded to 32 mbs of ram. :p

He even recalled a pc model that ran on casettes, and playing text-based star trek games over at a friend's
32 mbs of ram!? Why the hell do they need that much. PCs are just getting way too powerful these days. :-)
But I know what you mean, computers did take a big leap towards the late 90s and early 2000s, just look at the requirements for old games compared to now and you can see the difference.

I have seen a few old PCs, there was a lovely museum exhibition a few years ago that I saw that had a timeline of computers, ranging from modern ones, to the really old ones. It is interesting to see the improvements and changes in technology and techniques.

Hey, you don't tell me what to do. I adopted you remember, so I am the boss. :-)

*big silly hug*

I know I should be, I wish I was. But my sleep pattern is really messed up at the moment, and I am kind of restless due to a few things so if I went to bed I would just end up not sleeping and possibly waking my partner up by being restless. I am hoping that soon it will fix itself once I can get back to work and burn of some energy.

I hear you have adopted most of the thread? So I guess that makes me a grandmother now? :-)

How are you enjoying The Park? Are you having a nice evening?

*lots of big hugs*

Edit: Congratulations on your lucky 777 rep! *big hug*

Hallo, feine Herr von Hamburger!

(Why does Google translate say "hello" and "hello there" are both translated to the same word "Hallo"?)
