Yep, had a good day with the kids. Tomorrows going to be a bit of a 'media circus' with the local TV station and baseball team coming out to see the kids in action. :-)

To be honest, terrible. A very dear old friend of mine died last night, and I found out this morning, so it has not been a good day. She was terminally ill, so it was not a complete surprise, but still. It is actually the second friend I have lost like this this year, and due to this it has made my family worry about me more given a few things, which I was hoping would not happen as I don't want people worrying. There is some other stuff as well, but I am trying not to complain too much on here. Anyway, I will be fine, so nothing to worry about. I need to stop complaining so much on here I think.

I am very sorry to hear about your friend, it is always sad when someone is cheated out of a normal happy life.
As I get older I experience that more often and it's always hard.
People who care about you always worry about you, it's our job as decent human beings. Never worry about telling us what's going on, how we take it is our problem to deal with.

True, I guess I just try not to make things always about me, so I try to limit going on about the bad stuff. Given the amount of people I have lost I tend to agree with you about it not really getting any easier. I know people worry because they care, but I just don't like to make people worry, they have enough on with their own stuff.

Well, as I said above I will be calling it a night. You take care of yourself and have a lovely day. And when you are rich and famous I expect a free drive in your flash new car (and no, that does not mean I am one of the loose women I mentioned earlier, those are your nurses, I am just there for the car ride). :-)

Good evening, folks. :) Seems I'm not the only one who finds the Steam sale quite boring. Though admittedly, I think part of that is because I own too many games, not because there aren't any interesting ones on offer.

Trying to decide what to do with the rest of my night, as the lady and pup both fell out on me pretty early. It will likely mean some more Witcher 3, but I'm so close to wrapping up the final DLC that I'm reluctant to play it. It's like coming to the end of a good book, which I don't often feel with video games. I'll miss this one, though.

Amazing how easily we become dependent on things. :-)

Trouble sleeping. Everything was fine during the holidays. When I came back it started alternating again between dead tired and insomnia.
