CarrionCrow: -laughing- You're silly. There's no need to apologize. If anything, I'm used to people guessing what my age is.
Agent does have a bit of an advantage, since they've actually seen me and heard me talk more than once.
Maybe, but I still feel bad for getting it so wrong. I don't tend to care about people's ages and things, so I don't always pay attention to subtle clues about it while chatting online. But Agent tells me there were a few references made that would have given me a clue, but I am not sure I was here when they were said, so it could be that I would have noticed the subtle clues then, but who knows.

Don't be. When there's a lot of shifting, the numbers don't really add up.
Also, there's a lot of stuff in this thread. Digging through it would be kinda time consuming, or you'd have to be here 24 hours a day.

Some of the time. Depends on the moment.

Well I think I will just blame you and Agent. Agent for not telling me earlier, and you for not being in bed and noticing the post before I edited it. :-)

Also, good morning!

How are you today?

-laughs- Works for me. ;)

Good morning. =)

Can't complain here. Waiting to get sleepy.

That does not sound like fun. Hopefully you will be able to get some sleep soon.

I am doing okay. I found out an old friend of mine died last night, so that has me a bit frazzled today. She was very ill, and it was kind of expected, but still, it is never nice. Very very sad in fact. But anyway, I don't need to bring all that up in here. Other than that I am doing okay, I had a nice few hours sleep, so that always helps. Although I got all my daily chores done already so now I have little to occupy my time apart from some nice reading and chatting on here.
*walks in and immediately hides before someone smacks me*

Good morning everyone :-)

Excited for the Steam sale? ;-)

ddickinson:
It'll happen in a bit, I'm sure. Normal ups and downs.

At least you don't have any lingering work hanging around in the background to do later on. You can relax, do whatever you feel like. =)

-wails on you with vicious slaps from the largest anchovy I can find- ;)

Good morning. =)

Hoping the few items I have listed over there show up on sale. It'd be good to wipe that list out in full.
Anything there catching your eye?

*doesn't smack Agent for not telling me earlier about Crow... But does smack him for mentioning the evil Steam store... Then gives him a hug to say sorry.* :-)

I can't say I am excited, since I don't use Steam. :-)

Well you just make sure it does not happen at your computer. Keyboard sleeping is not fun. :-)

I tend to get everything out the way, that is the advantage of sleeping little and being up very early. But normally I have work to go to afterwards, but obviously at the moment that is not possible. I am tempted to go out and do some more productive things, but again, that is not really a wise choice in case I go too far. But again, that is just me complaining. I am just really wanting to be back to my active self. I think next week I will make more of a push on things and see how I manage.

I am. :D
Hope to spend more of that useless money stuff.
I'm not sure why I need it except to buy games.

Good morning.

*grabs anchovy and eats it* Never actually tried these, but I'm hungry :-p Gotta find something to eat in a bit.

I stopped buying stuff on Steam around the time this thread started. Mostly just because having multiple catalogs became too confusing for me :-p So no, not really looking at anything. Maybe a couple bits of 24¢ shovelware as a guilty pleasure :-)

No worries, I'm trying to stop doing that all together.

That's completely understandable. But you're doing the right thing by taking it gradually.

I know, I wouldn't dare push myself too far and set things back, not after all this time and with all that has happened. I have started working on a few books I started while doing my doctorate, so with any luck I can get them done and maybe published, so that will be nice, and a good way to pass some time.

The hug is what matters most ;-)
*big return hug*

Well, maybe you can get excited when Steam breaks. GOG isn't the only store that does that :-)

Well, you have to upgrade your gaming computer now and then. Gotta buy a really fancy mousepad, some gaming mittens, a chair that you can sit in for weeks at a time, etc :-)

Hah, I've been putting off replacing my headset for years at this point. I'll manage.
Last thing I did was upgrade my graphics card and that one will be fine for quite a while.
Entire PC was built last summer so I'm sure there won't be any problems soon. :P

They're great with pizza. The salty, fishy taste cuts through tomato sauce, cheese and meat grease beautifully. (Just try to get ones without bones. They're edible, but it's still frigging weird to chew through them.)

-laughs- Another person trying to say they want the Slaughtering Grounds. Okay, got it. >=)
