Star Control 2 is a game that I played back when it was new, and can still play. A good
addition to any collection. :)

The Fall at the discount price is tugging at my budget strings, even if it is short. It is supposed to have more
episodes made, but the way things go in development, don't get it expecting to have the developer finish
the other episodes.

I'm still searching through the sale too. Heh!

Well I fell for it and decided to add The Fall to the mix.
And with that my budget's exhausted. At least unttil tomorrow.
I might get a very last minute Zork yet.

I'd check around on the Fall, it might not ever get finished.

I'm fully aware of that however the 80% price cut automatically precludes all possible whining. As long as it manages to be a midly enjoyable game it'll be enough.

Of course if it manages to have a fantastic plot with intelligent writing and relatable characters that you can sympathize with. There will be blood on the streets.

I'd go for Prisoner of Ice. A complete Call of Cthulhu game for less than the first part of a trilogy made by a company whose developer blog hasn't been updated in over 6 months sounds better to me.
Alien Breed's so cheap, you could get that along with Prisoner of Ice for the same price as the Fall.

I am still hoping for 9 Last Resort to show up here some day.

And I'm kinda staying away from Prisoner of Ice. I've been told it's not that great specially when compared to shadow of the comet.

:) I'm actually interested in playing it some day. Jrpgs can be fun and... uplifting, I think.
From what I've heard the battle system and the whole character development, from a technical point of view is good.
The other stuff... not sure ;)
