Aye, the Breach and Clear games play differently, two interesting games, both enjoyable.

I have Wings of Prey and Sea Dogs, but only did a quick test play, they were both good.

What about Sid Meyers Pirates? Fun old game.... I've also got my eye on The Fall....

Thanks for the updates on your Serpent experiences... that is a game I've been holding off on getting. :)

Hurm, I already have the original Pirates, which I notice was not included in the sale. Probably not to steal the spotlight from the remaster?
The fall looks like a mix of Limbo and Flashback. It's also apparently woefully short, but at that price it's perfect.
Hurm, something really old, really good, and quite cheap. Well since I saw no bundle during this sale. No point waiting for a Tex Murphy one. How about I just get the first one?
Or maybe Star Control?
Or I could go for an absolute oldie with Zork?

LOL if my quick perusal of the screenshots here are any indication, my guess is initial reaction will be: "Boobs. Big eyed, weird-stanced saccharin boobs." (Seriously why are they standing that way on the battle grids?).

I always wished I liked that style of "action (J) RPG" more. I played a bit of one called Rogue Galaxy that was pretty good, I always wanted but never did put time into the Tales series (I think?) on the 360. And to this day, I regret that my PS2 could never, EVER for the life of it play Star Ocean. I must have returned 3 copies of that game, always crashing at the exact same point just after the tutorial.

Later learned it might have had something to do with that model of PS2 slim and early dual layer discs. Pity!

Oh, and just in case anyone here played the 360 Star Ocean game - here you go - hate me for the rest of the week:

That winged pig though... It brought nothing to the plot, it was shown in one scene, then never brough up again. Why the hell even bother to bring it in the first place?!
Sorry, it's just... Valkyria's plot was pants-on-head retarded.
The game itself was fun though.

And I'll be able to talk about the times when we only had a keyboard, no mouse and we liked it. While yelling at people to get off my lawn!
