I somehow got hooked on reading about Shadowrun and it's a pretty interesting world. May even get the 5th edition PDF.
I think 65% off is the best deal I've seen so far and well, I had a few dollars on PayPal and well, you know how it goes.... :-)
Plus by reading and looking at the new Shadowrun stuff it seems they might be dying a slow death, have to help them out. ;)

Yeah, Shadowrun's a good game. Got the 2nd edition book when I was younger, have liked it ever since.

I think you're right. It hadn't gone that low before, I'm pretty sure.

Have thought about grabbing that, but I've still got a bunch of 4th edition stuff. Maybe later on.

Lady and pup are sleeping, I'm enjoying a Fat Tire and Sigur Ros' "Route One" livestream on headphones. I'm having lunch with my best friend / former roommate, and I couldn't be more excited. We haven't gotten to hang out in quite some time. So, of course, now I'm completely manic, with sleep nowhere in sight. I'm enjoying the night though, so no worries there. :)

Glad to hear you're well, and good on you for getting into some Shadowrun. Good stuff. I'd consider getting the 5th edition pdf as well if I actually had real-life friends that lived nearby that would play. I loved Shadowrun Returns and Dragonfall, but I've still yet to play through Hong Kong.

On a semi-related note; I'm watching (well...rewatching) Trip With The Teacher, a 70s grindhouse flick and it's a good one, but the most memorable thing about it (for me anyway) is that the lead antagonist has just the freakin' COOLEST sunglasses EVAR! His shades definitely puts the sunglasses in the Matrix films to shame.

Edit: Just realized that the film's antagonist was portrayed by Zalman King, who also portrayed the lead antagonist on what was perhaps my all time favorite episode of Gunsmoke. Small world huh? :P
