AgentBirdnest: My chat list looks so dead with the new organization :-p Nobody online anymore... I miss seeing all the green dots.

Crawfish?

Oh my. Had a nice multiplayer game with someone. I actually laughed so hard, had water coming out of my eyes. Broforce... I tried to be good at it, but it's quite a challenge.
I saw it there, took one look at the gameplay and the art style an went this is a pixel fad cash in on bionic commando or whatever that commodore 64 game was.
No thanks...

JunglePredator: Good game; interesting enemies etc.
2nd one is better imo even though most people bash it.
Like the medieval setting in the 1st one most than the one in the 2nd.
However the player character is more interesting in the 2nd one.
Decent combat, except when it gets repetitive, bad controls when the game tries to remember that the actual Castlevania series involves platforming, nice music if a bit ridiculous when you get the god chorus for getting an upgrade, camera angles that range from occasionally wonky to intensely stupid and broken, the idiocy of not having camera control at all, depending on what appears to be a pack of half-blind chimps dictating how the angles are going to be, enjoyable boss fights when they're not gimmick fights that consist of virtually nothing but quick-time events, a voice actor that alternates between sounding like the audio version of a plank of wood and a combo of grunting and sounding like they're pulling a muscle while shitting their pants, and Patrick Stewart being on the receiving end of a bit of a disservice since it gets irritating to hear them narrate everything, including things that should really be done by way of seeing how the main character reacts to things and changes over time instead of being conveyed by soulless rote paragraph reading, and the bullshit expectation to keep on backtracking for hidden items, making the game even more of a slog than it already tends to be.

Sure, we all have different tastes. No point arguing about it :)

But there are too many colours and sprites for C64. More like an accelerated Amiga 1200.
And you can destroy everything and play Steven Segal :P
Hello everyone!

The exams are all over and the results will be in the 29th. I know they were done by wednesdey but I've been to busy no-lifeing Supreme commander, from the depths, homeworld 2, Kohan, total annihilation and ... and ... to be able to pop in.

I was thinking I might actually try doing something not videogame-related today ;P

Well anything staring steven segal can't be all good... or even slightly good.

What! Heresy! :)
But in all fairness, he only co-stars, there are lots and lots of others.
And a sleepy good morning to all. Still have a cart full of stuff and can't decide which ones I really want.
*hugs, waves, indecision*

If everyone could throw some +1's Endre's way for his generous ninja gifting prowess, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you. =)

I made it through that phase :) - and entered another difficult one (for me): which epic game to get into. Almost started Pillars, but finally went with Serpent in the Staglands. Cool game. Makes me a bit sleepy though ;) But it's really lovely though. Might need some more coffee...

*cures for indecisions*
