ddickinson: Kangaroo burgers are actually quite nice. Quite gamey, and nice and lean. Probably not to everyones taste, but not too bad at all.
Empress_Owl: ... o__o ... and you yell at me when I say I eat frogs. Well !!! **silly hug** I never tasted kangaroos...
Hey....

CarrionCrow: Oh shit...
My apologies. Didn't see your post at first and got no notice.
Good evening. =)
Neck-deep in a slow game, presently. Can't complain too much otherwise.
How are you doing?
Don't be silly, there is no need at all to apologise. Although I did eat your Kangaroo burger since you were so long. :-) My apologies. Didn't see your post at first and got no notice.

Good evening. Is the game at least enjoyable, despite being slow?
I am doing okay, thank you. My new medication is messing with my head something awful, but nothing I need to bother anyone with. Plus my partner is home tomorrow, so I have a nice weekend to look forward to.

Completely understandable. Thank you for offering to share, regardless. =) Good evening. Is the game at least enjoyable, despite being slow?

If it wasn't trying to call itself Castlevania, I'd think better of it. It's got problems, to be sure, but having it linked to the overall series makes those problems feel worse than they would be otherwise, if that makes sense.
I'm sorry you're having to deal with all those shitty side effects. Medication is great at providing those.
That's good, at least. I'm sure you're looking forward to her return. Then you two can do fun stuff and spend time together. =)

Sorry, but Kangaroos burgers apparently only really taste nice while fresh. :-) If it wasn't trying to call itself Castlevania, I'd think better of it. I do understand. The kind of sequel where you think it would be okay if it was a separate game, but when put in the series it shows all the cracks of the game.
Thank you. It is not too bad, the other more scary side effects seem to be gone, it is just this silly head I need to sort out. So if I end up making no sense at any point, just ignore me. :-)
That is very true. I am king of hoping I will be up for some horse riding, but that will depend on my health on the day and the weather. But either way it will be a nice weekend.

It's not even a sequel of any kind. It's entirely different from any of the classic Nintendo games, Symphony of the Night, or any of the good portable titles that came out later on.
I've only played a tiny bit of God of War, but it's still pretty obvious that they made a clone of that, then called it Castlevania to try to make more money.
Don't worry about it, understanding you is never a problem.
If that's what you want to do, then I'll keep my fingers crossed that it works out so you can. =)

low rated
She was only sixteen, only sixteen,
But I loved her so,
But she was too young, to fall in love,
And I was too young to know.
We'd laugh and we'd sing, and do funny things,
And it made our hearts glow,
But she was too young, to fall in love,
And I was too young to know.
So why did I give my heart so fast,
It never will happen again,
But I was a mere child of sixteen,
I've aged a year since then.
She was only sixteen, only sixteen,
Ooh, with eyes that would glow,
But she was too young, to fall in love,
And I was too young to know.
But I loved her so,
But she was too young, to fall in love,
And I was too young to know.

I came back home to bother you. The hotel near here by the river wasn't into selling me any beer. The waitress told me to wait 20 minutes. Some regulations perhaps? The outside bar was just closed and the inside bar was still not open. So I came home. Perhaps it was for the best. There were not any comfy chairs.

Tell you what, if I get some more Kangaroo burgers then I will save one for you specially. :-) It's not even a sequel of any kind. It's entirely different from any of the classic Nintendo games, Symphony of the Night, or any of the good portable titles that came out later on.

I saw a few screenshots of the game, and it definitely did not give me Castlevania vibes. I always think of the 2D type games of old. It was probably as you said, just a cheap cash in. A game that would not really sell on its own, so they attach a name brand to it.
Thank you.

Okay, that's weird. If they weren't selling for some reason, I figure they would've told you. Did they somehow run out of beer? Did they expect you to wait while someone got back from the store?

Yes, I agree it being weird :) Did they somehow run out of beer? Did they expect you to wait while someone got back from the store?
I saw all kinds of bottles there up in the shelves so it wasn't that :)
It was a strange moment indeed. But I assume they were not so worried about losing customers as the lady behind the bar went on to do some kind of procedure involving a calculator that seemed to go on for a long time...
I have never seen this in the capital area where I'm from so beats me :)
