You are mad that I did not accept a gift of a game that I might not play for quite some time?

No, just mad in general. :P
At least I finished doing the school stuff I was doing.
avatar
ddickinson: Well is that not how it works? A bully does not always think they are mean, but the victim would sure think it mean. And who are you to say your view of it not being mean is the right way and my view the wrong? Exactly, so it is still mean. :-)

*big silly hug*
You're really mean disregarding my opinion >:(
The others here are right about you ...

:P

superstande: Probably, sure. I loved 1984 and something else Orwell wrote, can't remember the title.
Maybe it's just that lots of writers work differently these days. They read a book, and then think it's good and just rewrite it :P
Whereas "back in the day" would-be-writers read lots and lots of books :)
I'm half-kidding here...
Well it's same way it 's always been. Look at some great authors of the past. They also "were inspired" by other older authors :)

Well I usually try to resist gifting no matter what, even games that I might really want on my wishlist, so don't take it personally. I am not good at accepting gifts, so I try to put people off and get them to get themselves something instead or someone else who deserves a gift.

And congratulations on finishing the school stuff.

And you are mean and unchivalrous to disregard the opinions of a lady. :-)

I am not surprised, you are all Americans and Europeans on here, you hate the English regardless. :-)

Unchivalrous maybe but mean? - also i guess the first one would've been more serious in the olden times....

UK is not part of Europe? O_o
Hating the English? Speculation.... :)

Oh and concernign that button. You can read about it a few pages back. DD tried to force me to push it and beheaded the imposter ELT in that process :)

That's us, the Conversationalists. Kinda like the expendables only a lot more talkative. :-)
In a bit of pain today but otherwise OK, hope your day is going well.

Wondered what that severed head was doing here, almost tripped on it. :/

Not according to game developers. There is the UK, then Europe. They often don't class the UK as part of Europe. I guess geographically we are, but I know many seem to say UK and Europe as two different things. Plus depending on the upcoming vote we might be leaving.

Speculation? Do the World Wars not ring a bell? You seemed pretty angry while bombing us. :-)

It was ElT, or ELT, however you want to spell it. We tried to stop him, but he was just yelling stuff in Welsh and kept pressing it. :-)

*big silly hug*

How are you today? Seen any new games that catch your eye?

So we defeat the baddies by talking them to death? Like Kirk does with computers?

Sorry to hear about your but at least you're ok otherwise. I'm doing good :)
What do you think about today's additions to the catalogue?
Just another quick mention of Yezemin's birthday. I am too lazy to write anything new, so I will just paste my first post about it. :-)

[Fred Birthday Tradition]
It is that time again when one of the lovely regulars of Fred is about to celebrate their birthday, in this case the lovely Yezemin. And as part of the tradition, I have been given a list of her (kind of) most wanted games. Her birthday is not until the 4th of July (please no Independence day jokes), but I figured I would get on it early while the sale is on, so anyone wanting to gift her a game can possible take advantage of the sale. So, if you would like to get her a little something, please let me know and I will share with you the list. But as always, something I try to emphasise with each of these, is that the gifts are not what is really important. A nice birthday message is all that is needed, the gifts are just a little extra. So if you don't want to or can't get her a gift, then that is fine, but please consider at least sending her a lovely birthday message on the 4th of July.

Oh, and seriously, no Independence Day jokes. I full support Yezemin's right to cut of your testicles and staple them to your forehead if you do make some silly Independence Day reference. In fact I will even provide the blunt knife and the staple gun. :-)

Thank you for your time. You are free to go about your business again now. :-)

Well that's one thing i never understood....and despite you might be leaving the European Union - which might fail anyway if you ask me - you're not going anywhere...you're still in Europe after all.

I see....now you try collective guilt :P
Projecting events from a - admittedly horrible - past into the present and accuse current Europeans of Anglophobia ;)

That wasn't Welsh, he was just coughing up a hairball, they sound the same. :-)
Doing OK except for some rather painful joints, haven't checked the sale yet but the 2 new additions aren't my kind of thing.

Do you mean the EU might fail whether we stay or not? I tend to agree on that point. What do you mean not going anywhere? We cut away all the land and made ourselves and island just to get away from you all. You are all too mean over there. :-)

Not really, it is not like we didn't bomb Germany in return. :-)

But he is Welsh, he just pretends to be German. :-)

Sorry to her about the pain, I hope it will get better as the day goes on. Do you have any painkillers for it?
