Why Doom 3?
It's usually considered pretty bad.
Doom however is getting rave reviews.

Doom 3 is quite good, just not at all like Doom 1 and 2.
Gets a bad rap for the flashlight mechanic but the game is much worse when you mod it to make it a permanent addition or using the BFG edition.
(the game is also way longer than it should be)

Fuck the BFG edition.

To be fair I've never been a fan of horror. Trying to get through Fear 3 because I love the engine but doom 3 didn't amaze me.
Interested in Doom because Doom 2 was never that much of a horror.
