AgentBirdnest: I loved RtCW as well. One of the better middle-aged shooters, in my opinion.
Clear Sky really is awful. It's the buggiest of the three (and that is really something, considering how buggy Shadow of Chernobyl was.) The faction wars feel like a singleplayer version of a multiplayer version of a singleplayer game. Terrible.
Call of Pripyat took the best stuff from the previous games, left out the bad stuff, and was amazingly well polished compared to the previous games.
All I remember of Clear Sky was the game kept telling me to defend stuff until people arrived.
They just never did...
Also had no clue what to do but whatever.
I guess I'll pick up SoC sometime.
RtCW is still great, replayed it just a few months ago. :3
Had to play on easy though.
Wow, that game is hard.
