CarrionCrow: I'd say a player can totally become stuck. If you've got nothing but high-level missions, and all you have is a few totally inexperienced characters, your party's probably going to get slaughtered.

Probably would've picked it up already at 33 percent off if I didn't already have it elsewhere.

The framerate thing doesn't bother me. Comes down to price, will have to see if it shows up and what it's going for.
Yeah, don't mind me if you don't care about framerate. :P

I really do love the artstyle they used for Darkest Dungeon.

Abovet: Hello guys!

Anyone here knows what happened to the list of unavailable games on GOG Connect? They've gone to only three games now. Am I missing something or is that what's supposed to happen?
They were there for 5 days.
Those three are newer.

ddickinson: Thank you. I will be fine, any sleep is better than no sleep, and so far I seem do be doing a little better today, so that is nice.

There was a rumour of Fallout 3 coming here, and I imagine it would make a lot of people happy. Fingers crossed then that it comes here for you.

Well I have ELT to thank for the idea. I was taunting myself by checking wishlist and I noticed he had a game on his list that I thought I remembered having a spare key for, and I did. So I went through some other lists and while not having much success, I did have a little.
That's true. Also glad to hear you're feeling better so far. =)

From the info gathering, New Vegas is slated to come along at some point, at least. It'd make sense for them to break it out during the big sale.

It's a pain to find places for keys to go when it comes to GOG, thanks to the super fun checking a single list at a time.

I am sure the extra sleep is helping, but I am also hoping the medication is finally taking effect. A few more weeks and I should be over the pneumonia.

Are they games you already have on Steam and want again here, or games you have never played?

True, but at least it gives me something to do while passing the time and trying to fall asleep. :-)

I hope so too. Need you feeling better, not worse, so it needs to move its ass and get to working already.

I've played Fallout 3 and New Vegas before, but on a console. If they show up on GOG, that'll be my first time grabbing them on PC. Have already beaten New Vegas a couple times, figuring one more full run should be enough to call it dead and be done with it completely.

Yeah, it's got to be more interesting than staring off into space with nothing to do, or looking at the sale timer and noticing it getting slower...and slower...and slower...-laughs-
Morning all, glad to see y'all are doing at least OK today. Was going to sleep in this morning but when a 90lb dog has to pee one must answer his call. :-)
Have the day off today so I can nap anytime I want. Only downside to life is that we probably will break some records for high temperatures over the next few days. 37-38c (98-100) is outrageous for this time of year. :/

Argh, I came home from work... And find it has been attacked by a generous ninja... there's a collection of shurikens on the wall, it spells the flag of U.K. in perfect order and colours... hm... ;)
*drops into the thread while wearing my gifting ninja-costume, but quickly takes it off before anyone suspecs what I have been doing.* :-)

I am sure I will get there, this pneumonia is just a setback, plus now I have the trial medication which should help overall, so that is hopefully a plus.

Ewwww, you played them on console. How dare you. :-) (I have not idea if they would be better on console, nor do I really mind, just me being silly about all the console/pc hate out there that silly people have).

For some reason the Fallout 3 games did not really jump out at me, so I am not sure if I would get them if they come here. I am not sure why it was that put me off about them to be honest, but when I looked at them ages ago out of curiosity they just never really stood out to me.

The only thing I am worried about is that these old keys were ones I have away a long time ago and the person has just not redeemed them yet, but then I think if after all this time they have not then I guess they never will. Plus if I do mess up and gift a game twice I will replace one, but hopefully that won't happen.

*kicks the sales timer to go faster for Crow*

Must be German. No British person could draw their flag so perfectly.

Endre, Endre! *tugs on Endre's sleeve until he turns around*

I saw that you has Simon the Sorcerer 1 on your wishlist now, well I don't have a spare key for that game, but I do for the second game, so if you would like it you are more than welcome to it. The first two are very nice games, at least I enjoyed them.

ddickinson:
Fallout New Vegas is amazing, it's Obsidian!
Unlike Bethesda they know how to write interesting characters.

The world in Fallout 3 is pretty great to explore though.

A-ha. A diversion! Very good, sir! :P

Or... maybe it was British, who wanted to really mess with me :)

Hi, Fred! I hope you're all having a lovely day! Been up a couple hours, just haven't been ready to acknowledge or accept that fact. ;) I suppose it's time to make coffee and get the day started.

I may break down and just start putting the new bookshelves together myself today, as I'm not the patient sort, and I'm feeling like having a project day.

I hope you are all doing well, or as well as you're able! :)

I'm sure you've already heard this a million times, but so much of the real fun of Fallout 3 and NV are the mods available for the PC version. I'm not one to want to mod every game (or many games at all, really), but it's one of the things that really helps these games shine so much more.

Good morning. =)

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. They whimper to let you know, and you might want to curse because you're not awake, but you don't want them to think they did a bad thing, then you have to navigate to the door without slamming a foot, knee and/or shin into stuff.

Shit, man, you've got me beat today. Would hope you've got better weather than this hellhole.
Hopefully you can time it right and grab a nap to dodge the worst of it.

-laughs- That is some highly skilled ninja work. Not quite sure what the flag design means, though...;)
