CarrionCrow: You mean you don't float above the water, glaring menacingly at all you survey?
Not to mention the inherent logistical problems of paddling a boat when you have no feet...
I do have a tendency to pursue and eat the other paddleboats. Bothers the ducks to no end.

AgentBirdnest: Is the sale meeting expectations so far?
I'd say yes.
However, my expectations were low.

GR00T: Yay! GOG summer sale!

Ugh, heading out to pay our property taxes.

Yay! Cheap games.

Ugh, the backlog.
Backlogs can be a huge pain. But the tax thing is worse. -passes over bandages for when your wallet starts hemorrhaging-

CarrionCrow: Oh yeah, you're totally right. I need to cut mine off again, it's way too hot for hair now. Thank you for the reminder.
Anytime *tips helmet to reveal receding hairline* :-)

Maybe at first. But so long as you go after the boats and not them, they'll grow to love you.

Kinda the same here. I was expecting a totally broken website a minute after launch. Pleasantly surprised that didn't happen :-)

I do hope so. I bring them bread sometimes, too. It's a bit crunchy from being exposed to hard vacuum, but the water soon softens it up.

Likewise. Not a GOGbear yet, nor a hung checkout. Of course, as soon as I say it...

Hair is annoying. If yours is going away naturally, it means you have less to slice off. ;)
I'm actually a bit disappointed to see the Tex Murphy games listed individually in the sale.
I really wanted a bundle.

That works. They don't understand the problems of transporting bread through space, they're ducks.
If some of them do understand, that means they're space ducks. That's when you get nervous.

I do keep a respectful distance from Space Ducks, but have run afoul of a Stargoose Warrior more than once.

I've slowly started to accumulate one of these - and don't *ugh* property taxes! I find them to be one of the few enjoyable taxes to pay LOL. Of course, I'm biased because while they aren't cheap, they're far from awful in my town.

And Crow - can I harass you for some pointers RE: Bloodlines? Mod type stuff?
Anyone here ever play Dyad?

It's not harassment. You can ask me stuff, of course. If I can help, I will.

I'd recommend downloading the full unofficial patch. To be found here.
The GOG version already comes with the parts that fix the worst of game-breaking bugs, but not the whole thing.
