Empress_Owl: I never heard about this... 0__0... I'll go to sleep less stupid tonight...
To be honest i first heard about that term a few years ago....it's apparently not very common. Before i knew about it i called myself vegetarian + sea food (cannot live without fish) ;)

omega64: Sauerkraut is terrible.
They added it to Lahmacun. :l
Waste of money.
avatar
ElTerprise: Well depends on the way you make it and i like it that way but adding that to Lahmacun is just wrong.....
I'm pretty sure that was my first time having Sauerkraut. xD
Not a good first impression, I don't think I've had it since.

Well then there's pickled eggs, pickled fish, pickled onion (not sauerkraut... these are just whole onions pickled), pickled wieners (they have a german name but forget it) & pickled corn to try.

No not really....i mean i can understand having coleslaw on Lahmacun but Sauerkraut?

Empress_Owl: Ho... nice. So you all wear big red beards, checked shirts and axes ? :-) [/clichés]
avatar
ElTerprise: Hehe...that were the first things that came to my mind ( and i do like them ^^ )
Hm...i guess , Grünkohl, , Labskaus, (and German dark bread in general) and Pannfisch (and some other things with fish ^^)
That's a list of things i like (the ones with meat in a vegetarian variant) - mostly derived from Hanseatic cuisine :)

Empress_Owl: Now I'm REALLY hungry... :-|,,',',,',',,',',,',,',,',',,','
Are you vegetarian ? ô__ô
Not at all... some of the beards are black or brown. Checkered shirts & axes... yep. Checkered shirts are called Jack Shirts & 90% of all Canadian men have them. When you move here you'll stop caring.
For the axes... when you can't cut down a tree you can chop up the ice. (see previous post....)

Merci bien...but i won't everything from that because i'm not a friend of clams :)

I already have a checkered shirt :-)
But I'm pretty clumsy with an axe. I don't think I'm ready yet... and I don't like frost anyway ^^

Right? xD
Hmm... my reply disappeared.
Now I see it's back.

GOG... fix your forums.
You're wasting bandwidth by having something that doesn't work right.

You could always move to France and drown in the floods.

Hey, you're the one who don't want to set a foot in my flooded country... :-)
But you can send a couple of your strong bearded, checkered-shirt guys if you want... tell them we have tons of trees to chop here too ^^
