No, I know, it is that time of year soon where you Americans blow lots of things up (and get very drunk, not always a safe combination :-)), so we sit you on a chair on top of a giant mound of fireworks, play your national anthem and wave the flags, and then we blast you all the way to France. :-)
Hmm... I could strap some empty peanut butter jars to myself to use as flotation devices :-)
But I just can't say no to fireworks... *sits on chair* B-|

There's not actually not that much shoveling. Only in Spring & Fall.
Winter things get too cold to shovel.

On the plus side you'd feel right at home... same amount of water... it's just a different temperature.
