zeogold: AHA! SO YOU DID set it to public!

I knew it! I knew it all along!

Maybe if your Steam account gets new games?

You're probably right -- maybe it just needs Public to record what your library is, and then stores a copy.

superstande: Hey, am I wrong, but I think you can pause to issue commands in Homeworld?

What an answer

^__^

... so... maybe?

Thanks, Crow for the info by the way :)

Also, happy to know that Copper Dreams might get ... ah... what do you call it... kickstart backing enough to be made?
$37,105 at the moment - still 4 more days to go... only needs $3000 now :) - yesterday it was over $6000 I think.
Ooh, that may change things, a lot. Also, thanks for the heads up about Copper Dreams. I'd forgotten about the kickstarter... still can't decide if it looks half as interesting to me as Serpent in the Staglands, but I think I'll still back it, especially seeing how close they are to goal. :)

akhliber: This looks so damned pretty, but... RTS... crap. I always suck at games where I can't pause and issue commands. Maybe that's why I suck at real life too, come to think of it. ;)
*giggle* n__o
I'm not particularly great at RTS either, but I can't help loving them anyway. It makes me feel important for a change, when commanding armies/fleets of units ;-p

Hmm... I have played Homeworld long long time ago and have this vague memory, you can pause, but you could investigate further to be sure...

About Copper Dreams... Well, if you are sure, as in sure-sure :) - I have this strange good feeling about it - so I am about 99% certain going to back it up as soon I've got my budget cleared for the rest of the month... Copper Dreams reminds me of some old playstation 1 game or something. Can't remember what :) ...And it's kind of a bold move to do a game with those graphics... so respect for them for that. Shouldn't have been too hard to put in some rounding-of-the-edges sort of thing, but they wanted none of that :)

blakstar: Nope, just sheer luck I guess. Granted, GOG staff have said on the forum that you can set your profile back to Private after connecting, so maybe it's only the initial connection -- setting it to Public might cause fewer problems, I assume.

Hmmm... Interestingly enough, the documentation for the Steam API seems to say that you can have your profile set to Private if you're querying your own account. Surely, the very fact that we have to connect accounts by signing in with a Steam username and password means that we are querying our own accounts.

Obviously I'm not in on the implantation of this, so I'm kind of theorizing here! :-)
Ok, so will someone explain me what's so legendary about the new release?

The fact that it's Homeworld?
Supposedly quite a good old game.
Yahoo! I did it! my first ever kickstart backing!

Okay, time to head for work!

...Guessing the sale starts tomorrow (hopefully) or thursday... that homeworld background is too epic to leave today :)

Now that Gearbox is here I might do the connect to Steam just to get Borderlands. :)

Party Hard on sale on Humble Bundle.
Good evening folks *big hugs and waves* :)

Hope you're all having at least a decent day.
Howdy all, back from work and still alive but barely. Hope everyone is having a decent day.
My class starts tomorrow afternoon and plenty to do yet so I guess Homeworld will have to wait till Friday. :-)
*hugs, waves, pizza and LOTS of cold drinks.*

Note: Welcome aboard and welcome a broad are essentially the same thing in this particular context. ;-)
