I kinda wanna get Tabletop Simulator to play board games with people.
The problem would be convincing GOG folks as it's a Steam only game.

Steam usually isn't a DRM.... just a delivery method.
If it was DRM it'd be a bigger issue.
I bet you table top simulator just wants steam running for it's API not because of any DRM checks; I bet it'd be happy with no internet once installed.
Kinda like running any game with DirectX... it's not DRM... it's just wanting to access an API.
The problem is that there is no indication of when it needs the client to launch and when it doesn't.
Which leaves it up to others to buy every game and just try if it works.

I don't MIND Steam, just prefer GOG myself.

Well, I shouldn't expect any of my "wanted" games to show, because i am suppsoed to spare my money for the house works (and for everything that is still likely to ninjaly break around us...) ... but you know how I am... the more stressed/depressed I am the more money I spend :-P [/worst excuse ever]
It's a pretty good excuse. Buying random games that you aren't supposed to is a de-stresser and mood-lifter :-p

Lung scarring really sucks :-(. But at least (hopefully) it is not permanent.

Anyway... Good morgentas, lovely peoples of Frederic!

Thank you all for the lovely messages, which I am too tired (or lazy? :-)) to respond to individually (sorry). I most likely will not be that active on the thread, but I will stick around on chat if I am up to it. I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the week and had a lovely sunny weekend? Did I miss anything fun while I was away?

I am off to go answer my long overdue chat messages. Sorry if I am delayed in replaying on chat or on here, but I will try my best to keep up.

*hugs, waves, and some lovely homemade lemon and liquorice ice lollies (they are like regular ice lollies, but instead of a wooden stick it is a stick of black liquorice.)*
