Empress_Owl: Ho, you have those over there too... :)
Good morning, Agent !
My weekend was pretty cool (except for our entrance door being broken... hey, we couldn't stay a week without something being broken and needing some extra spending... could we ?...)
I saw my parents, yes :-) happily back from Cuba... I was happy to see them too !
That's good to hear... about the parents, not the door :-\ Sorry about that one.

Anything you are hoping to see in the upcoming sale?
avatar
omega64: Functioning.
Want more sleep.

Same as usual really.
avatar
Empress_Owl: I sympathize... i only slept 4 hours... it's not enough ¤__=
And it's Monday... brr.
...
We need more coffee.
But, I don't even drink coffee!

Maybe I should...

JunglePredator: Fair enough,

As said difficult things don't bother me too much.
As mentioned previously my Cousin-in-law died of leukemia recently & such but it doesn't bother me to mention it; it's a fact of life sadly.

So if you want me to wander off I will; don't want to stress anyone.
It's more a logic exercise for me.

I can also talk about games; I like games. I have lots of games. I can recommend various types of games if you want.
Except hidden object. Your donation in another thread is my 1st hidden object game. :-) I mostly do RPG & shooters. I have racing as well & puzzle games & board games & the like I can recommend however.
avatar
omega64: Nah, carry on.
Just don't expect me to participate in the exercise. ;)
I would be surprised if you could actually find something to recommend to me.

I never play board games as I don't have anyone to play them with.

I don't think I've donated a Hidden Object game...
Oops.... it was marko.
Bad memory. Sorry Marko.
I actually like the PC board games because they don't require someone to play with.
I play cribbage several times a day with Hoyle Card Games... it has several other card games such as blackjack & the like.
The AI isn't great but not bad.
I got my copy from GamersGate & it uses Securom however Staples was carrying it until recently as disc based DRM only (untested).

I kinda wanna get Tabletop Simulator to play board games with people.
The problem would be convincing GOG folks as it's a Steam only game.

Empress_Owl: **Happily dives in coffee** thanks !! :-)
Good... i'll take the "all right" for a "good" ^^
I'm curious about your famous and very expected sale now... :-P
It's a "been better, been worse" kind of thing.

You'll probably find out before I do. I'm starting to yawn, so I'll most likely get to actually sleep for a while. I'll find out whenever I wake up.

Haha thanks :-P
Well, I shouldn't expect any of my "wanted" games to show, because i am suppsoed to spare my money for the house works (and for everything that is still likely to ninjaly break around us...) ... but you know how I am... the more stressed/depressed I am the more money I spend :-P [/worst excuse ever]

Good morning, everybody!!!! *hugs, waves, coffee and cheers!!!!*

Sorry I've been away such a long time. I had to take some time off from here because I was a bit worried about my wife's job search and didn't want to bother you all everyday while I didn't feel like I could take care of you in the same nice way you all treated me. But now it looks like she will be getting the one job she has been dreaming about for nearly four months now, we both feel great and I want to share my good mood with the nice people I know from Fred the thread!!! :D

I hope you all had a good time in the last weeks, with nothing to worry about. I nearly missed the start of Gog connect, but I'm excited now and really think this is one of the best things GOG did since I joined. So many games in my Steam library that beg for a drm-free backup!!!

Cheers!

Yes, it will go well. She got the call on Friday at noon and we had the greatest weekend of the year. Currently, I'm in an emotional state that can stay forever :)

The problem would be convincing GOG folks as it's a Steam only game.
See I don't get why people would avoid games just because of the store involved.
Steam usually isn't a DRM.... just a delivery method.
If it was DRM it'd be a bigger issue.
I bet you table top simulator just wants steam running for it's API not because of any DRM checks; I bet it'd be happy with no internet once installed.
Kinda like running any game with DirectX... it's not DRM... it's just wanting to access an API.

-laughing hard- Because nothing says "gentle transition from sleep to wakefulness" like bleeding ears. ;P

Still here, by the way. I know how this is going to go. I went in the other room to grab a drink and immediately started thinking I'd just jinxed the shit out of myself. Now I'll be awake for the rest of the night.
