EndreWhiteMane: Must admit, it takes a lot of devotion to read this thread that far back.
I think we've added another "I have no life" person to our little group. :-)
avatar
AgentBirdnest: I imagine it would make a pretty good read. Full of silliness, adventure, drama, action, coffee... I oughta print it out and read it again sometime ;-)
I'd love to even save it somewhere but I can't figure out how to do that without paging through all 2150 pages of it. :/

Fairfox: I ate a mini (ish) chocolate éclair. So nommy, but then I realized/remembered I can't make it to teh gym later.

I am morose :/
Run in place. Start now!
I'll tell you when to stop. If I remember. ;)

ElTerprise: Hey *big return hug*
Hopefully you'll find some rest after the busy day. See you later :)
Finally got a moment of rest, and I'm soaking it in while browsing the Great Courses Plus catalog. Tempted to take a nap, but I'm enjoying being tired and comfy. :)

AgentBirdnest: Secret projects? Sounds intense ,'',','):-|
Good day to you and lil' Sargie.
What are you playing lately, anyway?
We've got bookshelves coming that will be perfect for my records and for books alike, so I'm doing a bunch of rearranging in the living room. It's good fun! I haven't even injured myself yet, either. Taking a break while pupster naps. :)
Lately I've been playing about 83 different games, but I've been focusing recently on Dark Souls, the latest Witcher 3 expansion, Salt & Sanctuary (which I just started last night) and Darkest Dungeon. I'm taking a little break from Baldurs Gate EE, as I was feeling a bit burned out, but I'll be back to it soon enough. :) Up to any exciting gaming yourself?

EndreWhiteMane: stuffs and stuffs
I showed the Great Courses Plus site to my ladywife, and her immediate response was, "you should subscribe, it'll be a great way to keep you stimulated while stuck at home."
I really, *really* thought I was going to have to make a good handful of arguments, along with an assault of compliments and general arse-kissery before she would warm up to the idea. I just subscribed for a trial month and am excited to get some actual learnin' in soon. :)
Thanks again for mentioning this!

Fairfox: On a seppy notey: some GOGie user called 'Dreadnok' randomly Chatted me (or whatevs you want to call it) with "Let me know if you still want the game". Totes randomly as it t'was teh only Chat-thang, and I don't know them from teh forumz. Dodgey-dodgey or am I paranoid?
That sounds off to me.

I'd tell them I have no record of previously talking with him/her in case someone was impersonating me.
No harm in that, I think.

He tried to sell a bunch of games not too far back.

Injury-free projects are usually a good thing :-)
Sounds like a lot of RPGs :-p I haven't tried any of those.
I've got a few games on my plate at the moment. I took a challenge last weekend to play 12 games for one hour each (mission accomplished!) Of those 12, I am continuing to play Two Worlds, Fez, Earth 2150, and Day of the Tentacle. Plus, the lovely little yellow-feathered one hit me with Children of the Nile a couple days ago, and I became instantly addicted to it :-p (+1 her if you see her!)

edit : Heh... I doubt I could find a more balanced group of games than the ones I'm playing; A fantasy RPG, a retro platformer, a sci-fi RTS, a comedic point 'n' click adventure, and a historical city-builder. Now I just need to add a modern (or maybe horror) FPS to the mix ;-)

I tried a bit of outlast.
The jumpscares, they're real!
But it does feel a bit like it's trying too hard at times.
The panting and the music can get a bit annoying. I get it, it's spooky, you don't have to keep huffing and puffing like a porn dubber.
Evemorethetheth!

work is done, drinkin' a Hollows & Fentimans, quite a cheerful beer. Cheers! :)

Blimey! ...a dude at work really has a tough time - told me he got two bicycles stolen from him, the second one was borrowed from another friend - ended up losing about 500 euros... and for a student who's originating from Nepal...

But what can one say...? It's a bastard of a planet sometimes... Luckily there are lots of decent folks to balance it out, a little at least...

Now, to bar or not to bar... what says the lawyer-to-be? :P
Humm... I only read a page?
I'm going to blame GOG & AF on this & say that when I clicked the linked to the chat that's the page it took me to.... it seemed to be posted just a couple hours ago.

---Edit---
Oh n/m... that's the 1st page. it's the rules page for pete's sake. Lemme 'lone.

You've got me beat by a few degrees. Hopefully it's not supposed to be worse during the weekend like it will be here.

I'm mildly curious as to how you know what temperature balls are typically at.

Forecast says 110º on Sunday... a bit of rain would be nice, but it's not in the forecast until roughly March of 2023.
