It's the 4th time I try to switch to windows 10 and if they didn't fix the starting menu/cortana bug (which disappear randomly/freeze/or make your computer crash), I give up. >:-|

Mine lost all sounds on first booting... Now things have been working rather wonderfully... I've stopped expecting crashes...
Maybe keep updating the system, it should fix itself at some point, if there are problems...?

I just finished reinstalling and updating my computer and I THINK I avoided all the Win 10 automatic updates. I DID have a failed Windows Update though, but it LOOKS like all that failed was a security update to Internet Explorer 9. I'm GUESSING it failed because I'm pretty sure the autoupdate brought me up to IE 11? Does that sound about right / like something I don't need to worry about? And if everything else said "Successful" I should be good right?

You need something as close to total destruction as possible. Preferably with no dialogue or gift giving.

Hopefully you won't get the delightful glitch that I do. Sometimes when I plug in the USB cable of my camera to download the pictures, Windows 10 decides it's one USB device too many and thoughtfully deactivates the keyboard. Nothing like a hard reboot to make you love an OS.

*should I mention that win10 on my work laptop is working without any problems? hugs and waves* :P

Getting the feeling that GOG will start the summer sale before the Connect time limit ends.
