I hope you are all doing well? Just a quick visit from me today as I am still extremely tired and warn out.

I just wanted to drop by and and say where I have been. My pneumonia got a lot worse, so I had to go to hospital on the Friday I was last online. I then ended up developing septicaemia (blood poisoning) as a side effect of the pneumonia. Which is quite bad at the best of times, but especially when the immune system is compromised lime mine is. So I had to go to the intensive care ward for a little while to try and get on top of things. Luckily we caught the septicaemia early enough and it did not do any major damage to any vital organs, which is good. So after just over a week of intravenous drips and breathing machines I am finally allowed home with enough follow up medication to set up my own apothecary business :-). I am still not really doing too good after it all, and I will be on extra medication for quite a few weeks now as part of the at home follow up treatment for the pneumonia and septicaemia, but nothing to worry about, I am mainly just tired at the moment. Nothing a few days of sleep won't help fix.

But at least there has been some good things. All the antibiotics and other fluids I was on will no doubt help with my health over all, and I also finally got the go ahead for some new trial medication that I have been waiting to hear about for some time now, so hopefully that should help with my more long running health issues. It should just help me get the upper hand over it all, then after that it is still up to my own immune system which is hopefully doing better now after the hospital visit.

Sorry if I have not checked and answered any chat messages, I am not really up to it all at the moment, I just wanted to let you all know I was okay. I will try to get around to replying to any chat messages sometime next week when I am feeling less tired and have more energy. It will also give Endre and Agent some time to clean up the mess they made in my little corner of the thread, which seems to be littered with empty peanut butter jars and copies of Sexy Moomin nurse monthly magazines. I wouldn't mind normally but I have already read those issues. :-)

Well I am off to get some rest and go cuddle up to my partner on the sofa and fall asleep. One plus to being in hospital is that now I am back home I get my own pretty nurse who took a few days off work to look after me. And who knows, if I behave I might even get a sponge bath out of it. ;-)

I will stop my silly wittering now, which I shall blame on the painkillers. I just wanted to let you know that I was okay, not quite dead yet, and hopefully will be back for some silly chats next week. Hopefully I didn't make anyone worry, sorry if I did.
