So, I'm not really tired tonight. I just decided on one game from the staff picks to buy, then went right ahead and bought the wrong one. :/

Also, I did something similar a while back. Looked at someone's stuff, confirmed that I was getting the right thing, then hauled off and got the wrong one. Ended up going back and doing it again.

It was a tie between Lethis and Rebuild, finally decided on Lethis and bought Rebuild, doh. ;-)
That's OK, like you I desperately need more games anyway. :-)

You could always ask for a refund and then get the RIGHT game this time.

Hmm. I don't know, that might be tricky to figure out. ;)

So I bought the "remaster/remake" Redux version of Hard Reset...looking forward to playing it. I own the "original" version on Steam but only played it for a few minutes. I enjoyed those few minutes but I have a REALLY hard time finding motivation to play checkpoint only based games. so I figure it'll get some good playtime now that it will have a quicksave feature. Considering the original came in a $1.99 or so bundle and that the Redux version is/was heavily discounted here due to owning Shadow Warrior (2013), I guess $5-ish total is a acceptable price to "double dip".

Beyond that, life is...life. It seems that my boss has cut my hours because I dared ask (politely and without pushing) that he honor something that he verbally promised when hiring me...so that's a thing. I'm still getting over 30 a week but I've lost 6 hours or so. Hey maybe it's just an anomaly and my hours will be back for the next schedule, but I'm not holding my breath.

I hope all of you are having days that can be described as "mediocre at the worst"!

Yeah, that's not a bad price overall to get the right experience.
