For anyone with idle interest, here's level 9 of Geometry Dash.

Actually managed to finally beat level 8 around 10:30 last night, before I fucking finally got some sleep after my insomnia weekend.

Empress_Owl: Hello, Manny !! I miss you, I should have bought a Manny for me too :-)
How are you doing, Crow ??
I promise you he's being taken care of. I've already told my roommates how I got him, his overall value to me, and that if he ever gets cracked I'm gluing him back together and putting him on my tower with Crow Owl. =)

Doing all right here. Finally managed to sleep for a while. Weird thing is, even after 3+ plus days of virtually nothing, I could've pushed it further.

How's your day going, aside from the fun of working at home?

Here's what I beat last night.
It took me playing off and on for most of the weekend to finally clear it.
I still have 12 harder levels to go.

Empress_Owl: **Pass Akh a mug of blackberry muffin tea with a bendy straw** :-)
Go on, they have some good stuff and I bought many times on their site, it's serious !
They've got some fun t-shirts and other goodies I'm in need of anyway as well. I'll likely wait til the lady gets home as there's some stuff I think she'd adore on here as well, but I'm going to go ahead and do some "window shopping" on there today.
I was convinced Sarge was ready to play hard. Looks like he just wanted to hurriedly relocate to the futon in the dining room so he can lie in a sun ray. Back to snoring again. :)

Another 'pets on the furniture' guy. I was thinking of getting a larger sofa so there'd be room for me. :-)

When we first took him to a trainer, she told us, "he learns so fast, he could easily become a service dog if you trained him for it." We seriously considered it, as with my health issues, the idea of him being able to help should mobility become an issue seemed huge... but then one of the first things we learned was that service dogs have to learn that it's not okay to be up on the furniture with people and things like that. We immediately decided it just wasn't that appealing after all, as it's so nice to let him snuggle up. Of course, the bigger he gets, the more often it means "he snuggles up, you find somewhere else to lie that you'll actually fit" :)

Hopefully he won't get big enough to slowly inch you out of the bed and onto the floor like mine can. :-)

*before running off for a bit, just an oddity to share... I finally decided to give gaming a go last night, as my hand's gotten much easier to use, but still figured a gamepad would be best. I was going through games, trying to decide on something nice and easy to play to "ease my way back in."

Instead, I somehow wound up talked into giving Dark Souls another go, installed it, and actually beat the first boss. That felt pretty awesome. Only now I figure I'll actually play through the game, meaning yet another on the "currently playing" list... and I think I want to start over to change class already. :)

Absolutely. =)
The only thing I'm missing is a coffee press, and I'm planning to get one of those soon.

That does sound better than the normal workday. I'd rather do laundry during the day in between stuff than be stuck in an office having to behave myself for hours. -laughs-

The weekend was a bit of a mess. It was the key factor in why I didn't get any frigging sleep.
Thankfully, things are back to normal now.

EndreWhiteMane: Head over Heels is a pretty cool game, just not sure it's worth 20 bucks for a prettier version. ;)
It was wasn't it?
I played it back in the day, but never got too far. Not only did I get hopelessly lost, but I didn't know what I was supposed to do.
In my defense, I was around 8.
Had to guess from the price tag. Specially with the new flashback game that was released recently.

Being probably the only person on earth who hates Another World, The Way wasn't even a consideration at this point.
Maybe when a bunch of reviews say it's awesome then I'll reconsider. :-)
That would be a very cool thing.
