EndreWhiteMane: Mostly stuff that has a high yield per square foot, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Squash, Peppers, etc.
We have lots of stuff like herbs and greens too, those are mostly for examples for the students.
Pretty small operation, 33 4x8 foot plots.
Edit: Should say 33 4x8 foot raised beds, makes more sense. :-)
Wow, that's a serious spread, all kinds of good, interesting things there.
My grandmother used to grow tomatoes once upon a time. Not sure on square footage, but there were quite a few plants. What grew there was
so much better than anything you could get in a store.
A question for you - is there anything you think might be good for planter box growing in a desert environment?
(I know I could ask Google or whatever, but I trust you more than them. ;P)
