ddickinson: Thank you.

I wonder if there are any like that. There is this game about sleep, but there are porbably many others.
Ooh, I have that game on my tablet, and it looks a lot like Monument Valley, which I adored. I forgot all about this one, so thanks for the reminder. I may give this a go today while sitting out back with pupster. :)

omega64: Try Spacechem, that'll help you fall asleep. :P

akhliber: That game made me feel like a cave man so absolutely fast, haha. Pretty sure that's one I'll only be able to play under the lady's supervision. I felt a bit like I was staring at a wall of code I didn't understand, but she seemed to think it was laid out rather intuitively. Now that it's finally the weekend, I'm hoping to finally get her to team up with me and try to tackle a bit more of it. I truly thought I'd at least get a couple levels in before being convinced my brainparts fell out, but not the case, haha. :)
Well, to be fair the first few levels guide you through the process step by step, telling you exactly what to do. :P

ddickinson: Did the game go on sale at some point, or is it one of those secret sales GOG has now and then?
I have no idea...

akhliber: *big return hug*
That may actually make the most sense. Been rainy here too, so Sarge has been extra sleepy. May as well take advantage of the down time and nap a bit, then attack a game when I'm a bit more awake. But the longer I sit here the more awake I'm feeling, so I may wind up just losing interest in more sleep before I lie back down. :)
Well in that case you hurry with napping ;)

I think I have a spare Steam key for it if you would like it on the PC, or is it okay on a tablet?

Agent found the answer, there is a second promo today. :-)

I'm wondering if it's the lack of visual cues. My wife seemed baffled that I was so baffled, and even said, "You're clearly just not yourself right now. Trust me, this should make sense to you." Maybe she was onto something and I just picked a bad time to try it (not unrealistic, as just a couple days of forgetting my medications and I can have trouble with the simplest of things.)
I'm going to watch a playthrough of the first couple levels today, maybe even while having the game open windowed... Hoping either seeing it in action more, or just seeing it while a bit more present-minded, will make it click.

Ah i see - thanks. That explains it. Aside from the DLC upgrade there is nothing of interest for me in that promo either....

How? It shows icons and the exact spot to place stuff. xD

Oh, I see. So yet again we have a case of the Yanks stealing things and claiming them for themselves. Do you people have no moral values?

*takes off Agent's promo spotter badge and gives it to Owl*

*big silly hug*
That promo actually has quite a few great games, wow.

Hmmm, just make sure you don't watch too much.
It would ruin the joy of solving it yourself. ;P

It sounds very likely that you just picked a bad time if the start made 0% sense.
It should at least make 1% sense. :P

I looks a little like a Staff Picks promo, maybe the one we never got on Monday due to the Witcher sale?

Sidenote, you do look like a Staff Picks promo. :P

It seems like the perfect sort of game for a playing on the tablet for me, so I'll pass on your offer, but thank you very much! I really appreciate it. :)

I'm banking on that being the case. I'll go easy on the videos, but will have a look at just the first few parts of the tutorial, and will maybe give it a try solo at a time when I'm all caffeinated and clear-headed. :) I have a feeling that, once it clicks, it's going to become a hell of a puzzle playground.

Yezemin: My Friday's nice. (Well, apart from the weather.)

How are you doing?
Yeah, I share the feeling... and they said we will lose between 6 and 12 degrees over the weekend +_____+
**going to chop some trees and make a big log fire**
I'm ok/good, thanks... feeling a bit weird, but good otherwise...

Well I own nothing from the promo, and there is nothing really that jumps out at me. But not a bad looking promo, and I know there are many games people like on there, so hopefully it has made lots of people happy on top of the weekend promo.

No worries, hopefully you have lots of fun with it on the tablet.
