This is you asking me to shut you out and not speak with you, based on my using a script in a video game store forum.

As such, if I do that, I will block you, your posts, your threads, your chat messages, everything.
And since I am not the type of person who goes back and forth with such things, you will be blocked permanently.
You and I will never speak again, under any circumstances.

Not reading a post and completely wiping someone out of the forum are two different things.

Besides, what if one of the people on the script sees the error of his ways and want to apologize?

Right now, I'm thinking of the team who made it. It's a grand total of two people, a husband and wife team.
I saw his profile and he's got close to 1,800 hours playing it on the rental store. It's apparent he's been doing his best to do QA for it.
I don't expect them to manage to have everything out day 1 across the board. That's not realistic.

Well, I normally expect people to have some consideration when posting. And if people post stuff I think is offensive, I see no need to talk to them or read their posts.

Darkest Dungeon just got its last big update. I've been waiting for that to happen.

NO! Though I can see how it sounds that way. :D People should monitor themselves of course, but it should be done by someone because they want to monitor themselves, not because they are being threatened if they don't.

It's like a child. If the child is doing something crude (a vague term I know) do you get him to stop based on knowing that what he is doing is inappropriate or based on the fear of you slapping the shit out of him if he does it?

The problem is you can't compare the situation with the child with this situation. You just can't stop people here. This is an open unmoderated forum. And there is nothing that can be done to stop someone if they just want to go on and be annyoing all the time. So while it clearly is not the solution that is the best it seems to be the only solution.
And let's face it. Some pepople don't want to monitor themselves. And they never will. Because they have way too much fun annyoing others. So if you have a suggestion how to solve that, I'd be interested to hear it.

It should be interesting. The last update includes town events, so on top of the missions, I can worry about something in-town happening that's horrible as well. -laughs-
