Just got the big reveal, and it's what I already figured it to be less than one single hour into a I've lost fucking count because this fucking game has put me to sleep so many times my game time log's worthless fucking SLOG.

Good night, and glad to hear about your "productive stress" :P

Like ToxicTom, I'd like to thank you all for helping keeping my spirits up the past few months (and overall, the past year or so). It means a lot to me, and I only hope that I've been helpful in doing the same to y'all :)

Anyway, what's the deal with the Hard West Collector's Edition not including the DLC? I WAS interested in it, and still am to be fair, but won't be picking it up until it gets bundled into a "real" Collector's Edition.

CarrionCrow, your post reminds me of so many games, where you can instantly guess every plot point and you end up frustrated. The worst offender in recent memory was Dishonored. I've not beaten it yet (I figure I'm 75% through it) but I was calling the plot twist from the very moment I saw the cast of characters.

For a final remark for this post, if you like Leisure Suit Larry style games, go give The Perfidious Petrol Station a look. I've talked about it a few times, but it's AMAZING. It's kinda short (maybe two hours?) but every moment is great.

toxicTom:
Very sad news about your father-in-law, but moving to the country to be near them sounds like a very positive thing.
Wishing you and your family all the best with the move - hope that it is a happy and healing decision for all of you, Considering what you've been through, you surely need some good things to happen in your lives now.

Poor Crow, sorry to hear about your frustration. Hope the next game you play gives you just as much joy. <laughing>

Anyone following the tale of 9MOTHER9HORSE9EYES9? Wonder if someone will try to create a game out of it...

From The Guardian: "Two weeks ago, a user who came to be known as “_9MOTHER9HORSE9EYES9” posted a disjointed snippet of text in a comment on Reddit, a site where communities post articles, images, personal stories and more for threaded group discussions.

A Reddit user might chance upon a single one of these posts in one of their ordinary discussion threads, but clicking on the username of _9MOTHER9HORSE9EYES9 would let you view all their posts in aggregate, and there, a compelling science-fiction horror story was beginning to emerge, gradually more beautifully and boldly written from multiple narrative perspectives, but with a common mystery."

Hey there, Zen lady. =)

No need to apologize, it's my own stupid fault. Buy the ticket, take the ride. ;)
Oh my fucking god...I don't even know where to start...

I've got music that sounds like it got added from a Final Fantasy spinoff, puzzles that aren't really puzzles that are supposed to be poignant but just make me laugh, a random button mashing sequence, a sequence wherein I hold down a button to make a bullet grow longer, and now my character's gone full anime, to the point of packing a Dragon Ball Z Super Saiyan-esque energy aura, complete with white hair instead of brown, and no one is mentioning jack shit about it.

I want to know who told the writing team that the ending needed to be more lively, then tell them to shut the fuck up, because this is way, way too much.

And now there's another instance of a shitty mini-game that was introduced for this title, just because they're apparently trying to throw everything up to and including the kitchen sink into the ending.
And then another mini-game after that, only with no difficulty whatsoever, turning it into nothing more than mashing a single button combined with more godsdamned padding...

Finally, mercifully, the section ends. It says there were only 12 phases, and yet I've been doing the same damned part for an hour and a half.

Probably a normal occurrence which they're used to.
Dear gods, it's finally over. All it took was a 20 hour concentrated slog and enough stimulants to keep the gameplay from knocking me unconscious.
Good morning, beautiful people of Fred!

I hope you are all doing well and are having a lovely Friday and are looking forward to a nice weekend?

I managed to go for a nice run this morning, which might not sound like much, but it is the first time I have been able to for quite some time. I did not go far, but it was still lovely to have a morning run with my partner before she had to go to work.

*hugs, waves, Belgian buns (minus the icing), and anything else I decide to bake today.* :-)

A run? ô__ô That sounds awesome! Will you be trying out for the 2016 GBR Olympic relay team? *puts on my "DD is nº1" hat* :-)
Great to hear you were able to do that. And happy Friday.
*happy hug, and takes a Belgian bun*

I do not think I am good enough for the Olympic team, although I bet it would be lots of fun. :-)

How are you today, lovely Mr Agent? *puts on my Agent is the #1 Agent in the whole Kingdom of Fred hat*

I could put icing on the Belgian bun if you like, I just did not feel like icing today? :-)

*big Friday hug*

Awww... don't make me blush B-) *big hug and takes a selfie of the #1s*
Icing sounds lovely. I think I might bake something too today. It's been a little while since I've been in the mood to do so. *gets out the recipe books*
