It's always good to get away, back to somewhere quiet that they can't follow.
Well, if I get too annoyed I can just shut everything down and then no one can bother me. Living alone is sometimes really good ;-)
Awww these are so cute! *thank you hug*

Hello everybody.
*Tight hugs and huge tidal waves*
Life signs again. although not happy ones (again...). Seems like I'm a magnet to bad news.
I had already reported that my father-in-law was diagnosed with cancer and of March. Yesterday night my in-laws came out with what kind. It's a malign pleural mesothelioma, very probably caused by inhaling asbestos dust decades back. It's incurable. Life expectancy 7-14 months after diagnosis, up to 50 months under ideal conditions (female, under 50, early recognition) - which are all not applicable.
My wife is of course devastated. And I'm just so tired and sad. I don't know how to to comfort her any more. I really love the old man, he used to so be funny and full of energy. My relation to my own parents is rather 'distant' (it's complicated), but my in-laws took really me like their own son - no questions asked and with lots of love and all.
Fuck.
On another note: My wife currently is with a good friend and I've just finished Witcher 3 (Took me only almost a year O_o). Final verdict: One of the best games I've ever played and one of the few games that are (for me) on par with PS:T. Also place one on the "games that made me cry" list.
Love you all. See ya.

Hello, Tom.
Very sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Rather fucked up stuff.
I'm sure you are doing your best and all you can to be a support for your wife.
I think sometimes the best you can do, is be there. To be present and available.

Just a quick hello is all. Love to you all!

Life signs again. although not happy ones (again...). Seems like I'm a magnet to bad news. So sorry to hear. I truly hope things improve for you and for your family and that you're able to really get some rest soon. Sounds like you're trying your best to be supportive, and that's what really counts. Just don't forget to take care of you, too.
I completely agree about Witcher 3. Incredibly well-written game and one of my all-time favorites.
