CarrionCrow: What are your thoughts on it all?
I had Shadows of the Empire (along with Rogue Squadron) on N64. I regret selling those, but I used that money to play Half-Life, and as a result, never touched a console FPS again. So I guess it was worth it :-p
With my nostalgia helmet equipped, I remember really enjoying Shadows. Usually I'd quit after the first few missions (arguably the best ones, sadly) but I did manage to complete the game one or two times. I'm curious to see how it plays with a mouse and keyboard, since the controls were always tough for me with that painful N64 controller.
And the discounts look good on the rest. The Saber Bundle is the one I'm into. The Jedi Knight games are really lovely, and Empire at War is "fun enough", despite the boring-ass ground battles. KotOR is backlogged...
The Blaster Bundle isn't really my thing. I liked Rebel Assault 1+2 as a kid, but not as much when I got a little older. Rogue Squadron still remains fun to this day though :-)
