akhliber: Hello there! He had surgery a few days ago, just needs a few more days of recovery before he should be up and playing hard. Of course, he's been ready to do so for two days now, so he gets grumpy when I make him tone it down, but otherwise he's being quite a trooper. :)

I made coffee finally, I think that's about as close to something as ambitious as cooking as I'll get for a while yet... eyes won't open all the way yet. :)

81ºC just browsing the web? Time for some cleaning.
It was long overdue. The dust bunnies had evolved into dust bears and didn't like to be disturbed, and tried to eat me. Fortunately I was hardier than them. I even disassembled the power supply and cleaned its fan. A lot of blowing and some brushing with a pelikan number 4 brush later, the thing looked almost new.

Currently its holding at 52ºC.
I consider the cleaning a success.

Heh, speaking of sound.
Recently every time I started the pc, after having been off for a period of time it sounded like an old 2CV.
with a boot full of rocks.
Now it barely makes a sound.

I'm jumpy as pluck. I almost stepped on 3 lizards while out walking a little while ago. They scurry away so quickly that is startles me :-p [/total wuss]

That's good to hear. Mine is a bit mixed, as my days always are lately :-) But mostly good.

Well they are more afraid than you are :)
Thankfully you didn't step on any lizardmen though :P
