So, is Dying Light the "dark secret" mentioned in the Bundleopolis news post?

Pretty gogdamn lame :-)
Good afternoon folks.

I've managed to recover online multiplayer on Dark Souls.

It requires a mod.

moonshineshadow: And well... Atlantis might look that way but it is really not. The control is not that good and most of the time you don't solve puzzles but need to do some annyoing scripted timed events and the game doesn't even allow you to save whenever you want -.- I played part of the first one before getting too annoyed to continue.

AgentBirdnest: That doesn't sound very fun :-\ *adds to "avoid" list*
What about The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour?
Yep, good choice to add them to that list.
And aren't The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour horror games?

Hey don't give Crow ideas, avatar changes are bad :P

CarrionCrow: Wouldn't worry too much. Odds of it changing are pretty low. =)
Good :D
Allow me to tell you my woes of online multiplayer in Dark Souls.

There are 8K+ players, one would think then that matchmaking would be easy.

WRONG!

First of all matchmaking (or node visibility) depends on the Steam Servers, which works about as well as a shark in a volcano.
This morning by sheer luck I managed to connect to one node and build up from that.
And that was a fluke. After I restarted the game I wasn't able to get a single connection again after that.
So I started looking around in the forums about this problem and what do I find?
That the modding community had come up with a mod which will forcefully connect you to a known node (player) and from that, build up your node pool bypassing the Steam servers entirely.

And once again, modders have to fix what developers shit out.

Oh yeah :-|
How about Miasmata then? Looks interesting...
Samurai Champloo is a good show. It falls under the heading of quality anime, not "I feel creepy as fuck for watching this, I need to shut it off" anime.

I haven't actually watched that sort of Anime, I've encounted a few manga I'd rather not talk about though. :l

Yeah, some of those are pretty frigging bad.

I could be wrong, but I think they're the cheesy FMV type of horror. Like, about as scary as the 2nd Gabriel Knight game, which was supposedly horror. Don't take my word for it though, since I haven't played them yet (although I certainly plan on it).
Just finished Banner Saga 2 and now I feel depressed as hell.

Wonderful. Always good to see nice people feeling badly after doing stuff for fun...

Because that game is incredibly emotionally draining. Really drags you down. For some reason I'm always drawn to stuff like that.

I've only started the first and haven't come back. xD
It really bothers me for some reason that characters are animated during dialogue.
Well, there's a bit of animation.
I probably wouldn't be as bothered if there wasn't any animation at all.

Uh ok, I'll pass on that ;-)
