EndreWhiteMane: Keeping my eye out for sales on list items and new stuff. That'll keep me busy for the summer. ;)
-laughs- That works. Should be interesting to see what shows up in June, given how many items they've put out for this sale. I doubt they'll be back again so soon.
Just took a concentrated shot of anime to the brain. Think I lost a few sanity points on that one.

For the love of god, game, PLEASE let the murders start soon.

Empress_Owl: Good evening everybody :-)
I hope you're all doing well... ?
As for me, I'm fine... my 2 days in Barcelona with my friends did good to me... and so did my first appointment with my psychologist. I'm gonna see her every two weeks from now ; we have tons of things to talk about and sort out... I trust her. But one step at a time... and above all : no pressure.
I wanted to say a big thank you again to all my Fredian friends, for your kind words and attentions those last days/weeks/months/year :-) you're really wonderful. **big hugs all around**
I hope you're enjoying the sale/a nice afternoon or evening/the weekend, and life.
Read you soon !!
Hey Owl, good to hear you're doing okay. *big hug* I'm glad to hear you're getting the help you need and that you're just taking it slowly to see what's right for you. :) See you soon! *huge hug*

Hahaha, good morning, Agent. :) How are you doing? Did you grab anything in the sale?

Good morning, Ms Metry! How are you?
All is going well here. A quiet morning, except for the not-so-gentle sounds of rain and thunder outside, which I love :-) I was planning on doing some cleaning right about now, but I'm currently stuck in a papercrafting session, so the place will remain dirty an hour longer :-p

And no, haven't grabbed anything from the sale just yet, but a couple of very lovely people have ninja'd me :-) ... I've got my eye on one or two before it ends tomorrow though. What about you?

I'm doing pretty well, thanks. :) Good to hear you're doing all right too. I like rain a lot as well, although I could do with some sun right about now, but that's mostly because it's been especially cold for the time of year. (Apparently it was warmer during Christmas this year than it was last week ... things really are getting strange ...) Haha, what are you making?

I haven't grabbed anything. The Sherlock Holmes bundle is interesting, but the upcoming Kathy Rain game has also taken my fancy, so I might just spend my money on that instead. I'll probably try the demo first and then decide. :)

o__ô That is some weird weather. The nearby mountains here got a load of snow the other day, which is strange for this area. We rarely get snow even in winter. It was beautiful though - I'm not complaining :-)
Today's project is something silly. A paper craft of a photographer :-p

Ah yes, I'm interested in Ms Rain. So happy to see an actual demo here! I'll give it a try today. I miss demos :-D I hope we get plenty more.

Mother Nature must have misplaced her calendar. :P I can imagine it would be pretty! The Netherlands is a pretty flat country, we barely have any hills at all around here, so I've only seen mountains on holidays. :) Haha, sounds interesting. You can do great things with paper. I can't even build a paper airplane so I'm majorly impressed. :P

Yes, I was happy to see the demo as well! Very good of them to offer that. And the game looks like it's just my cup of tea.
*hugs eveyone*
Goor mornight, how are you felicitous Freddites this fine forenoon?

So I spoke too soon. It's not Dark Souls that's dark, just me.

Which doesn't make much sense since steamdb claims almost 5K people online right now on that game alone.
I should at the very least see a few messages.
But NOPE.

In other news. Any recommnedations before the bundle bonanza is over?

Meanwhile, I've only seen flat places on holidays :-p ... but I never get tired of the mountains here. I enjoy looking at Molly's Nipple from my front porch everyday (not my picture - found it on oogle. And no, it's not dirty. It's a mountain :-))
Huh... maybe that is how I got into paper - my dad was actually a paper airplane champion in college :-) I never thought about that.

Big pixels = yes please. (That almost sounds dirty.)

F.E.A.R.
Any genres in particular that you are/are not interested in?

I'm pretty much omnivorous, except for Diablo-styled ARPGs I just can't get into that genre.
Which is funny cause I have at least half a dozen of them.
And I kinda already have fear.
That's the problem with being a somewhat picky eater and having amassed a not-insignificant library.

Pretty good, supposed to thunderstorm here today though. But couldn't play icewind dale Enhanced I got from the community give away at all, though found out they're now including the classic version which should play on this lappy.

Well, I'm no RPG expert, ARPG or otherwise, so I won't say anything about those...

In the FPS category, I think Blood is the best really old one (back when shooters still used sprites) but Outlaws is quite fun too, from what I've played so far. Return to Castle Wolfenstein is a fantastic middle-age shooter that I'd recommend to anyone. It still looks decent and feels smooth, and is a fun all-around game. The STALKER games are great newish open-world shooters - Shadow of Chernobyl arguably has the best atmosphere and story of the series, but is quite buggy without mods. Call of Pripyat is quite polished, and I thought had the best overall gameplay.

In the strategy department... I've not played too many here, but Act of War wasn't too bad. A lot like C&C Generals, but a bit less casual, and more tactical. (I think I've already talked about this one with you :-p) I also see Heroes of Annihilated Empires on sale, which is a lovely fantasy RPG/RTS hybrid, but some missions might feel a little bit ARPG-ish. But other than that, I haven't really played the others in the sale.

For adventure games - I always bring up Wadjet Eye :-) Blackwell series for the best story and characters, hands down. Resonance is also a great choice - it has a fairly good story and some cool characters, but it also has really great puzzles (my favourite puzzles of any Wadjet Eye game.) And of course, there is a collection of LucasArts titles that are universally acclaimed, but I haven't really played yet :-p

Other stuff...
Blocks that Matter is a nice puzzle/p[atformer. A great head-scratcher about collecting/placing blocks to get to the exit.
Morrowind will keep you busy for a few months/years.

*hands Pimp an umbrella* ;-)
Hm, that sucks :-\ ... At least you'll have the classic though.
