CarrionCrow: I like Icewind. It's a good counter to all the dialogue and talking to people in the Baldur's Gate games.
It starts fast. Very little lag time between starting the game and getting into full-on dungeon crawls.
It also sets the stage for Icewind Dale 2, which kicks the crap out of 1 in every way.
That's nice and all, but is there enough difference between the oldie but goddie and remastered version to warrant the re-purchase?

Speaking of lag time I tried to do a speedrun of DS yesterday. In one hour I managed to kill the bell tower gargoyles.

Other people have finished the game in less.

I'd say so, because you get all the different kit options from Baldur's Gate 2. Those can make for vastly different characters, vastly different experiences.

CarrionCrow: Here you go. Something nice and light...=)
Thank you! :)
That, and 2 cups of black coffee - and I'm all set! :D
*runs off to work like roadrunner, finishes everything in 5 minutes, runs back home...*

-laughing hard- That music's even more effective than I thought...

Additional - Okay, I like my local movie theater more now than I did a few minutes ago.
I'm not a huge Prince fan, but I can appreciate and respect his ability.
The theater is actually showing Purple Rain right now. Was not expecting to see that.

CarrionCrow: Playing Runner 2, going for a kill it dead run. (Doing absolutely everything so there's no reason to ever touch it again after the uninstall.)

Other than that, it's a standard day. Getting enough coffee in my brain to make the headache go away.
Thrilling stuff, I know. -laughs-
Never heard of that game before. Is it sort of enjoyable at least?

Hahaha, fair enough. I've had a headache for the past two days as well. Guess it's probably got to do with stress. Tea seems to help for me sometimes.

AgentBirdnest: Haha... of course... *smacks Fearful on the back to clear her up* :-p
Yeah, I'm doing well, thanks :-)
Got any fun plans for the weekend?
*coughs* Thanks. :)

Good to hear that. I don't have much planned for the weekend, but that's good, as I could really use some peace and quiet. I'm going over to another city to do some shopping with a friend on Tuesday, though, so that should be fun.

It looks nice, the music's good, and the difficulty is punishing if you set it on hard. It's the best endless runner-type game I've played.

Would be willing to bet that you're right on the stress thing. Caffeine sometimes helps with headaches, so that'd explain the tea being useful.

Welp, I decided to take your advice.
I'm now the proud re-owner of three enhanced editions.
But you (and that other guy) have caused me a great mental anguish now.
Which one should I play first? The original or the remake?

Oh, and Shadow of the Comet got in that bag too.

My thought is, always go with the original first when you can. It showcases the differences that much more.

Also, you are one very lucky rabbit. Until I saw that it was the second collection, I was about two seconds away from gifting you the My Little Pony Humble bundle.

Awww that's sweet of you, but I already have all my ponies.

In a bag.
That's leaking.
And attracting flies.

PS: I should point out, 100% unironically, that I have a lot of appreciation for Andrew Price's pencilwork.

Sounds like a good place to have them. From the tiny bit I know about it, the urge is to scream for them to shut the fuck up anyway.

ElTerprise: O_o
I'm not familiar with that particular emoticon. Is that disappointment?
Come ElT pet the pony! PET IT NOW!
Good, now: BRUSH ITS MANE!

Cloppers would shut 'em up.
If you know what I mean.

I actually wish they'd do a Carl Barks bundle, I'd dive head first in that shit.

I actually meant the shocked one....was surprised about that being a thing ;)

Agreed. A Carl Barks (or alternatively Don Rosa) bundle would be awesome :D
Damn it, my licorice is petrified. This is like chewing synthetic jerky.
