ElTerprise: Good to know....haven't played any of those yet but then i usually don't play games the Crow Way™ ;)

Well that's the good thing about that kind of sale...you can easily wait for the end and for the releases during the sale :)
Way to play it my way for Bit Trip Runner 2 - put it on hard mode, then make sure to jump over every checkpoint so if you screw up, you have to start the entire level over again.
Bit Trip Runner 1's easier - just set it on perfect. It'll send you back to the start automatically if you mess up a single item grab.

ddickinson: Good evenoon, lovely people of Fred!

How are you all enjoying the sale and the new releases?

*hugs, waves, and cookies*
Good evening. =)

Waiting to see what all the bundles look like here.

How've you been?

You don't like that kind of paper, eh? How about Paper Sorcerer? :-)

Comment on the releases and the sale up until now? zZz
*big evening return hug*

Is one of the new games a visual novel? o_O

So far the sale is a little meh. I thought it would be two new bundles at a time, not just one. And the new releases are not really for me, but nice to have here for those who do like them.

But on to more important topics than the sale. How are you today?

*big almost the end of Monday hug*

Good evening, lovely Mr Crow!

Have you picked up anything nice so far from the promo or new releases?

I am good, thank you. I am on my own for most of the week, so the house seems more empty than usual, but other than that nothing to complain about. Well I mean I could, but I won't. :-)

Paper Sorcerer is really fun. I enjoyed playing it :-)
So, some stuff.

Hurm, I keep looking at the bundles but I fail to be woot'd and whooa'd or aaaaah'd or grghglgrglh'd by them.

Hurm, only three games to complete my lucasarts collection.

How come I'm not overcome with irrrepressible completionist impulse?

You'd need a full set of S&M gear to do that.

The spikes point IN!

Good evening yourself! *big hug*
The newest release looks a bit too... errrr... not for me. I saw the first bullet-point and *sighed* : Retro-Style Graphics Used to Enhance Atmosphere ;-)

You don't like visual novels (if that is what it is)? But it is anime with RPG maker type graphics? Steam has hundreds of them, so they must all be really good. o_O

Paper sorcered has a kind of P&P charm to it.

Little knonw fact, if you print every screenshot it shows the ultimate question.

Hmm... and the other "sorcerer" games...
How about Sorcerer King? You love turn-based strategy games, right?
Simon the Sorcerer? I heard the last two were in German, so you should love it?
:-)

It helps that the Windows version of Corpse Party is originally from 2008. :P
The original version way back is even from 1996.

The second thing. Anime is not my thing. Giant eyes, tiny mouths, and pointy chins kinda creep me out :-|

Yeah I totally love turn-based stragegy games ;-)
Simon the Sorcerer 1+2 are great adventures. 4+5 are not good, but also not bad if you can play them in German, otherwise the clearly fall into the bad category. Haven't played 3 yet, it is supposed to be awful :D

Wait, it's an RPG-Maker game?
watches video
Oh my god! The; quality! I can feel it, oozing from the screen right into my pores all the way down to my fuzzy toes.
Visual Novels are different, they're basically a bunch of images, with some text on the bottom part, then you get to decide between two different choices at random points. Then you either die or are exposed to more creative(pfffft) japanese writing.

I still don't get why they're called bad ends.

Not yet, no. Wanting to see what all shows up before I start spending money.

Hmm. That doesn't sound like fun. Did everyone have to go away on business for a few days?
