moonshineshadow: Funny thing is, the first Broken Sword game I played was the third one, got a boxed version as gift years ago. Have also played the first one. so the second one is the next on my list. Just haven't played it yet, because it takes some time to get it working. I mean, I don't want to play the remastered version and while the game here includes the original, that is missing the German language pack. So I need to set it up myself from my disk version ;-)
avatar
AgentBirdnest: o__ô You should play the fifth one while you are trying to get the second one working :-p
You seem very skilled with getting computers and software to work. Maybe you've tried Uplink: Hacker Elite? ;-) Or maybe TIS-100?

(Blocks that Matter : Level 20... How the hell did I ever get past this before? ô__ô)
*laugh* Well, I could, but normally I prefer to play games in the correct order ;-)
And not really interested in Uplink or TIS. I mean, sure programming and stuff is kinda interesting and I don't mind the occasional coding for work, but I can't see how games about that would be interesting.

*big supportive hug* Yeah the levels are totally evil sometimes.
avatar
AgentBirdnest: Ahaaa... I see! :-)

Hmmm... have you seen Sinistar's "One-Day Games" GOGmix? Maybe that could give you some good ideas for short ones.
Did you have any particular genre in mind?
Yes... i know that GOGMix thanks nonetheless....but i haven't really about a genre yet...but i'll find something eventually. :)

akhliber: [...]I hope you all have a lovely day!
Good morning! Sounds like some fun plans for the day :-)
*big hug, and a little scratch behind the ears for Sarge*

I usually do too :-p Although, I did play the newer Fallout games before the older ones... Which reminds me : Have you played any of the Fallout games?
What about other Introversion games. Darwinia, or DEFCON?

*big thank you hug* Just finished level 20. The last time I played, I made it to the wood-burning levels. Not there yet this time... *continuing*

Then go for a multi-genre game, so you won't have to choose :-p
Deus Ex \o/ ... edit: is a pretty long one, so nevermind ;-)

Nope, haven't played any of the Fallout games. And wouldn't even own them if gog had not given them away for free ;-) So priority for them is quite low.
I played a bit of Darwinia, after I found it in my account. Couldn't even remember I bought it. Turns out evil Insomnia sale was at fault ;-)
Wasn't fun at all.

Well i'm currently looking at FPS games on my shelf...guess i give FEAR a try or MoH Allied Assault :)

Did you already play Metro Redux?
... seems I'm keen to ask people to play that game a lot :) ...still haven't played it through, been on the shelf again for a few months.

Nope haven't played it yet but it's definitely on my list of games to play anytime soon :)

Alright!
It's actually a lot of fun and there's lot of jump-scares mixed with good shooting action. But I have trouble getting back into all that hectic stuff... Maybe I'm just old :D
Morning all, glad everyone seems to be doing well today.
Since none of you can decide on a game to play I have an idea; let's all go out on my front lawn and have a
BARBECUE! :-)
I could use some RL company but the problem is I usually HATE RL company. ;)
With you guys it would be a blast though. :D
*hugs, waves, Cookies BBQ Sauce*

So, that probably leaves out UnderRail... and Multiwinia ;-)

How about Miasmata? Kingdom Rush?

Well, they are the best two FPS games on GOG ;-) (traditional FPS games, at least, if you know what I mean >__ô)

Hopefully you are doing just as well.

So I guess I should stop trying to send the rain here to your place or else it will be a watery barbecue ;-)

Kingdom Rush was really fun. First tower defense game I decided to play.
Miasmata? Will have to look into it.

Not to worry, I have one of those rain canopy things. ;)

The Book of Unwritten Tales? Think that will be my next adventure.

Book of Unwritten Tales is a really nice adventure. Played it together with my mum, the second one is on the list for playing it with her during the next holidays :D

Are cyclops welcome? I love barbeques!
