ElTerprise: Okay...that Deadly Tower of Monsters game is really good so far....or should i say so bad that it's good :D
Basically a playable b-movie with really silly and bad special effects :)
Still been too lazy and walk out to my car to get my wallet to buy it.
I will though, I've been watching it for a long time. Memories of my childhood. :-)

tinyE: I've had that for a week and still haven't played it. :P Can you say backlog!?
I bought The Longest Journey 11 years ago :-p
Backlog, mothaplucka ;-)

moonshineshadow: *big thank you hug*
No haven't played that one. I played some of the newer ones, but I'll probably not start that game now, since I still need to finish Cities in Motion as well as Anoo 1701, that is enough of simulation / building games ;-)
avatar
AgentBirdnest: How is Cities in Motion? I'm slightly curious, but not too sure about it.
Speaking of curious... The Curious Expedition? ;-p
It is fun. And I like it that it is a simulation where you don't need to take care of building the whole city and everything. Only being responsible for the transportation system is relaxing :-)
*goes to check what kind of game Curious Expedition was*
avatar
ElTerprise: Thanks. It's seems like it's clearly inspired by those. And it's a silly fun so far but i guess one's has to like hearing a narrator nearly all the time (in the game's narrative it's an audio-commentary by the director) which i do so far :)
I have not really looked at the game too closely (because I am lazy today :-)), but what kind of game is it exactly?

At least it's living up to its name for you, I guess.

Of course you haven't played it. It's in-dev :-p
How about any Star Wars game at all?

*burns zeogold to the ground for making an obvious joke* >:-)

Oh well, that is why I can't even remember checking it *laughing hug*
Nah, no Star Wars games ;-)

AgentBirdnest: Random question : how much VRAM does your video card have? I don't quite meet the 1024mb requirement. I wonder if it would work okay with just 512.
I exaclty meet the minimal specs and it run pretty good for me even with the VHS Post-processing turned on...but 512MB might be a bit less...would've to check what settings i have ingame though....

Well at least you still have time to do so :D

From what i get it's a top-down melee-combat/shooter game...it's not an Action - RPG...

How about Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition? Which I hear is the bestest Gothic game ever made. :-)

*runs away and hides*

Is it weird that the age rating mentions sex and violence and it is rated just 12+ for me? Trust you to be playing a game full of sex and violence. :-)

Isn't that one of the Nordic games that were rejected by GOG? :)

Depending on the definition of violence i haven't seen much of any of that yet...except for the killing of enemies of course :)
And btw...it's also rated 12 here :)

Well of course it got rejected, it is just so good that gog can't risk people buying it or they'd never again play anything else ;-)

Blame that ELT for telling me lies. :-)

I still need to play the Gothic games. I have the first one installed and ready to go, but that was just before I got very ill. Is Gothic 4 the best game in the series?

I don't know how things work in Germany, but killing people is generally considered to be quite violent. :-)

It's that good? Wow...that's a game i won't risk playing then ;)
