moonshineshadow: Spellforce? Well this is a weird game. A mix of RPG where you play just one character and parts where you build kind of villages and recruit armies for attacking enemy camps. I played like half of that game. I probably should continue it one day :D
Hm... Interesting. Sounds a little bit like Heroes of Annihilated Empires (played that one? :-))
What about King's Quest? (For the love of Gog, don't eat the pie in part V !! :-O)

ElTerprise: Hm...today's released doesn't sound too spectacular to say the least....
But... but... space... and pixels :-(
Good evening, sir *big hug*

Oh....Spellforce...had funny issues with my old retail version of Spellforce 1 it always claimed that i had to disable Daemon Tools to run the game - but i never had Daemon Tools instead o_O..... oh well not a bad game though.

Nope, don't own that game. I need to look into it :-)
King's Quest? Well I have played 7 and 8, perhaps I should play the earlier ones :D

My favourites were 5 and 6. But, those were the only ones I finished, so :-p

Hmm... How about Resonance? (My second favourite Wadjet Eye game.)
Or Jack Keane 2, since you don't want to play the first one? :-)

In 5 and 6, could you die or be stuck without any possibiliy to continue?
Nah, can't play JK 2, if I play them I need to play them in the correct order.
*big hug*
Good evening, lovely people of Fred!

I had a very good morning/early afternoon at work today. Then I fell asleep under a tree while enjoying the sunshine we had today (I did not mean to, but I think I pushing myself a little too hard today). Then a nice surprise as I got woken up by my partner who had left work early to come see how I was doing and we had a lovely walk in the countryside. So overall my day has been great. I hope you are all doing well?

*big tired hugs and silly waves*

You can die a lot, yeah. Walking too far into the ocean on the first screen in 6 kills you :-p And in 5, you get a pie near the beginning of the game, and if you eat it, you will be stuck forever near the end of the game. Other than that, I don't remember if there were other moments you could get stuck.

How about Blocks that Matter? That was fun, but eventually I wasn't smart enough to continue.
I knew a girl named Ether One, maybe that is a sign that you should play it? :-)
*bigger hug*

Uh well :D
I am kind of playing Blocks that Matter. Currently stuck and was not motivated to look into the level again at the moment ;-)
Ether One? Let me look into it, I heard the name, but can't remember anything about it *big hug*
Random rambling: Why are more and more game developers becoming jerks these days? I was just reading the thread about The Banner Saga 2, and apparently DRM-Free is an after though, which might not even happen (only vague promise/hints it will), and that the games (2 & 3) for now will be Steam only. Why bring the first game here if you don't want to support the sequels here as well. It seems the game is already on torrent sites (like most games, they are on torrent sites a few hours after being launched, apparently this one was up in less then 30 minutes), so why be jerks to GOG customers and DRM-Free customers in general? The pirates, the thieves, get it DRM-Free, but paying customers, paying backers, get nothing unless they want DRM and Steam. Maybe the developers are trying to kiss some Steam arse, some kind of exclusive deal with Steam? Or maybe they are just too damn lazy or incompetent to support launch on more than one platform. Oh well, they lost at least one sale due to their attitude. Not that they would even notice, but I have better things to spend my money on then supporting those kind of developers. [/end grumpy rambling] :-)

Thank you. I was worried at first when I nodded off and woke up to see my partner there, I thought I had slept for ages. But luckily not and we had a great afternoon enjoying the lovely sunshine. My head is absolutely killing me at the moment with these migraines, I have the stabbing pains behind my eyes again, and my nerves are still playing up (I think due to me pushing myself a little too much today, at least I hope that is the cause), but even all that has not ruined my day. :-)

*big happy sleepy hug*

You've played Syberia, but have you played Benoît Sokal's first game, Amerzone?

Ah no haven't played that. But it looks good. I'll add it to the "interesting" list, same as Ether One :-)
