Hi everyone, how are you doing? My day was pretty tired and I wasn't feeling too good ... but then I got home and a package Owl sent me was waiting for me, and it was full of absolutely awesome things, and now I'm really happy again. :D So all of you, if you see Owl, please give her some +1s for being totally awesome. :)

I rarely play FPS games...I'd probably just hide in one spot, wait for you to arrive, charge forward holding a grenade, tackle you, and pull the pin.
And if that's not possible to do, it's obviously a lousy FPS game.

Clearly you should play more FPS games. :P
I haven't played either.

Divekick didn't seem appealing.
Nidhogg online mode is supposedly really bad.

Awwww, that sounds great.

Actually, it's really clever. It's a fighter with very simple controls yet very deep gameplay. More importantly, you're not wasting time attempting to scrub out combos, you're focusing on how to actually fight.

Hmmm, might be nice. The only other Fighting game I could actually play was Mortal Kombat 9.
King of Fighters and Street Fighter 4 were unplayable.

Thank you for the wishes. I have an exam coming up on Wednesday but hopefully things should be a bit better after that. And next Sunday I'm going to a fantasy fair so that should be really fun (as long as the weather cooperates).

MK and Street Fighter? Dang. Those require literally hundreds of hours of practice before you're even halfway competent. You picked the wrong ones.
Divekick has no such steep learning curve. It even evens the playing field so that newbies can take on pros and eventually win a round or two with enough work.

Mortal Kombat was fine, I liked playing the Single Player. :P
Street Fighter 4 didn't even give me a tutorial though.
Was I supposed to watch videos to get into it? O_o

I'll get Divekick next time it's on sale.

Thanks, I hope so too. And yep! Although I am being lazy and dressing up in last year's outfit ... I'll be wearing a floor-length black skirt with billowing gauze-like layers at the back, along with a (slightly military style) black corset with a cutout in front. The resulting style is a bit steampunk-ish. :)
