AgentBirdnest: So... new release in a few hours? Anyone have any predictions, hopes, or thoughts in general?
I'm kinda hoping for Plumbers Don't Wear Ties ;-)
avatar
moonshineshadow: Something I want to buy?
Yep, I know I'm very specific ;-)
Night Trap. :P

Yezemin: We were lucky. We bought it at the last Spiel. On Thursday. They were sold out of German editions early Saturday morning if I remember correctly.
Lucky you. I didn't make it to Essen last year, but I hope I'll be there again this year. Where exactly do you come from - do you have to trave far?

I'm from the Eifel. It's about a 2-3 hour drive to Essen, depending on traffic. We could technically drive home every day, but it's easier to just sleep there.

superstande: Guten Tag Damen und Herror!

*wonders was that proper Deutch*

Can't wait to get home... to sleep.. and head back to work.
Luckily Deponia is still fun.

What's up all you wonderful people?

omega64: The puzzles are really out there though, how far into it are you?

Good morning.
A late good morning!
(I disappear a lot these days, lotsa weird things called 'work')

I'm trying to wake up a certain someone, missing two items to complete that one...

avatar
PalioDeMonte: Well, nearly ;)
Argh. Failed the German Exam! *ashamed*

I should clearly go to Berlin and drink a lot of beer and practice the language!

Ah, if you think this puzzle is hard, Deponia 2 is worse in that regard.

Enjoy the game though.

Uh, thanks for the warning! :)
Might pass on the sequel for now.
It's a lovely game, fun atmosphere... but not sure how fun it will be if one gets stuck and runs around trying everything... then doing it all over again, like a person looking for his car keys :)

Aye, I'd say it's worth playing through. Probably keep a walkthrough handy for when you get stuck though.
Apparently GOG didn't fix the chat and avatar menu problems. I think the problem fixed itself :-)
I got an e-mail from support yesterday telling me that they are sorry and to please wait for a fix. I told them it has been working since Tuesday morning, so today they sent me another e-mail saying that they would inform the dev team :-p

O_o
I guess your expectations were too high?

Mine this morning said; "This problem should now be fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience caused."

You're welcome ;-p
Good morning!

To anyone : thoughts on the new release? Old first person shooters always catch my eye. I've never heard of a game where you can turn enemies into salt :-)

Tell me when you're here, maybe we can practice together (drinking, of course).
Cheers!

Sounds good :)
Good morning everyone, hoping you are all well and things are good for you
or at least going better than expected.

All is well here for me, thankfully.

Since I'm having to break up the first two books of the series into three or more books, it's making it
a little easier to manage the project. .

The pages of my first book are getting filled slowly but surely, and filled with quality content,
not just words flung across the pages... heh! Hope to have the first book ready for print
by July. :D

It looks interesting, seems like there is lots of exploring, and the action looks pretty good for
the age of the game. Not a must-get for me, but I'll keep an eye on it for future sales... :)

Hey there, Ghost :-D
Glad to hear you are well. And that book one is that close to printing! *counting months between now and July on my fingers* :-o How many books are planned, at this point?
