Oh, earlier me and my partner were playing some more Dark Falls 2, and we had a quick go on FTL. Just one quick play to see how it was, and we unlocked a blue (ice?) ship after finding a pod and some guy aboard who for some reason sucks all the air out of the room. Anyway, is the blue ship any good? Maybe I should use that one when I play with the Fred crew?

Different ships are mostly a matter of preference. Some have better firepower, some have better shields, better boarding capability... But pretty much anything is better than the first ship, in my opinion. That one might be a good choice, yeah.
