AgentBirdnest: I hope we get Postal 3 today...
Fixed, definitely need that. :P
Hello, fine folks of the thread! Just dropping by to say hello. Still feeling a bit rotten and pretty worn out, will likely just lurk a bit today for the most part. I played through 2 of of the possible endings in Stories - The Path of Destinies (takes about 45mins to an hour to reach *an* ending, but there are a bunch of different story paths, and you unlock new stuffs as you go, so it's built to be replayed multiple times and--at least so far--doesn't feel a bit repetitive in the process, as you unlock new story branches and new locations as you go. Pretty cool so far. On the easy side so far in regards to combat, but I'm content with that. Makes for a great leisurely gamepad experience.

I hope you all have a lovely day today!
*big hugs and waves*

You're welcome! He's one of my favorite musicians these days. I hope you are well! :)

I've heard that it is a broken and buggy mess. I'd hate for that to be true, because I thought Postal 2 was buggy enough. Postal 2 was still fun though, in a sick way :-p

omega64: It did, she won't be going to school for a few days though.
Is that a good or a bad thing?

ElTerprise: You're welcome :)
But i hope they won't wear you down for long :)

Thanks. That would be great :)
Thank you. *big hug*

How about just the first 2 DRM-Free? I have wanted to try them after hearing they were fun. :-)

We are due the new DLC, or stand alone game (I can't remember what it was). Steam got it a while ago, and we were promised it, but so far more empty promises from developers who could not care less about GOG customers as it is still not here.

---

Anyway, I will be going back to my lurking mode. I will still be around on chat, but I am not really up for the thread today. Take care, and I hope you all have a lovely day.

*hugs, waves, and this strange jar of stuff I just found under Agent's helmet*

I know, I received Postal 2 in the community giveaway.
I've been waiting for the DLC to get here ever since. :l

She's fine, just a bit exhausted. :)

It was, different developers.
Postal 1+2 developers hated it themselves.

I was wondering, is there some kind of clear indication which paths you've taken previously?
I doubt I'd be able to remember.
*hugs everyone*

There is a book that shows which story paths have been unlocked, and which "truths" you have revealed so far, that updates as you go. You can look at each unlocked entry and "view story" to see just what happened each time you've played already. Also, the narrator does a really good job as you go of telling you what you've already learned.
Each time you have to make a choice on branching story paths, it shows up like an opened book on the screen, with either two or sometimes three options showing up as choices you can take. These will also give you a good idea of what you've already learned. Each time you play through, you play through a 5 chapter story. If I recall correctly, the chapter changes are when you make the branching-paths type decisions, and on later playthroughs new choices will appear during these chapter changes, at least sometimes with new areas to explore.
Hope that helps!

Very interesting, I'll definitely pick it up eventually.
It's nice that every playthrough isn't all that long.
The narrator keeping you informed sounds great.

Thank you. :)

Good morning! I'm kind of in and out today (of the thread and of consciousness.) Feeling much better overall though, and having a nice day with the pup. The lady couldn't miss more work but was able to arrange things so she could work from home today, so things aren't so bad at all. A little rough around the edges but headed in the right direction for sure. :)
*big return hug*
I hope you are doing well today yourself!

**also, hello to those I've missed as well... doing a pretty awful job of keeping up with much of anything at the moment. ;)
