ElTerprise: Glad to hear that - well that's pretty common :)
I'm ok - having an annoying headache since yesterday evening.
Weekend was nice otherwise. It was a quiet and relaxing one :)
I hope the mean headache will pass soon...
**big hug with paracetamol**
Nice and relaxing weekends are great !!! :-)

omega64: It's still quite pretty. the game does add obstacles from areas you've completed to others which makes them just a bit harder.
It's just a time saver.
Instead of needing to rewind or restarting from a checkpoint you just get pulled up and you're back where you last touched solid ground.
I'm not sure if you can actually die in fights as it hasn't happened to me.
avatar
ddickinson: From what I read you can't die at all, you either get rescued or you and the boss regain all health and continue fighting. I think at the moment if I had to pick one of the PoP games I would go with the 2008 version, although I know the others are said to be fun as well. I will have another look at them all a little later and make up my mind then.

See anything you like from the weekly space promo?
Oh right I remember, the boss recovers some HP.
Already own FTL and Lifeless Planet still seems a bit too expensive for what it is.

Empress_Owl: Hoooooo nice :-D
**training to spook people** >:-^ HHhhoooooooouuu.....

omega64: Your hyde personality already scares plenty.
>:-) Good !!!

I am very sorry to hear you have both been up all night sick. I hope it is nothing serious and that the doctor will be able to help. *big comforting feel better soon hug*

It's nice to hear you managed to have a nice weekend, and did some driving for a bit, let's hope you keep improving so you can drive yourself now and then.

Feel better soon. *big hug*
Does this thread attract sick people or do they contract it here?

Lifeless Planet was fun, but I think it might still be a little expensive for most people. It had a nice story and length, but I am not sure if the price is reasonable. I picked up a DRM-Free copy from a bundle some time ago, as the price was too high on here given that it was not a game I had to have straight away.

I know, you've told me twice already. :P
I really do want to get it, just not for this price.

omega64: Good morning, get well soon!
Did you like the Star Wars movie?
Thank you! I was actually quite pleasantly surprised by the Star Wars movie. I really didn't like the last set of 3 movies, and had no expectation of ever seeing something new using the Star Wars name turn out really good. But I thought the latest movie did a fantastic job of capturing the feeling of the original trilogy. It actually felt like a Star Wars movie, and as a result I felt at least a little taste of that excitement I'd get when seeing the original movies as a kid. Definitely worth seeing. :)

I saw it in theaters. It was pretty good. Especially considering I didn't like most of the first 6 films.

Did I? *shrugs*
Oh well, I never claimed I was not absent minded at the moment. But I will try to just shut up next time. :-)

Or you could try to find a middle ground. :P
Don't worry about it. I frequently forget things.

Thank you! I'm sure it's nothing serious, just caught us both off guard. :) Sarge is being amazingly sweet, it always warms my heart to see how he responds when he can tell either of us don't feel well. It's still a pretty nice morning (though I wish the lady didn't have to feel poorly, could do without that part for sure) and I think once I get a little nap in, everything will be better by degrees. :)

omega64: Only get the first Assassins creed game if you can deal with heavy repetition. It's pretty bad in the first game.
avatar
ddickinson: It is the only one that is DRM-Free, so it is not like I have a choice. :-)
That is one I am still trying to decide on. I have heard that it is repetitive, but I have also never played an Assassins Creed game, so I was a little curious. I think I will read into them a little more before I make up my mind.
Well, I had fun playing it. I was neither bored or that it was repetitive. I just had fun.

Well I could, but then I can't annoy people with repeating myself. :-)

Fingers crossed that you two will start to feel better soon so you can at least enjoy some good time together while the pretty day lasts.

Thank you for letting me know. I am going to have another look at them before the sale ends and then make up my mind about getting them all or just a few of them.

*big random hug*
