And you can be sure I'm still a regular lurker - even when I remain silent :D *creepy hug*

So, I am thinking of breaking my 1+ year phase of not getting myself any games, and I was going to get the Prince of Persia games and the Assassin Creed game from the sale. But before I do, is there any of them that I should definitely not be getting? I have looked into them all and they seem good, each with their good points and bad, but are any of them really not worth it?
JoeyMallone: Because it is my favourite colour today :-)
(My favourite changes between green and blue.) Then fingers crossed for NOLF the blue edition. :-)

That is one I am still trying to decide on. I have heard that it is repetitive, but I have also never played an Assassins Creed game, so I was a little curious. I think I will read into them a little more before I make up my mind.

Really though - it's good to know you are around, even if lurking :-)
I hope! That's the best edition! It comes with a really lovely bonus soundtrack of '60s lounge-y music :-) (Really - I've listened to it countless times ^^)

I definitely recommend PoP 2008, it's very pretty. The game is a bit easy overall until you get to the end as the areas can be done in any order.

*random silly hug*
I was reading about all the hate on PoP 2008 about not being able to die. But is that not just a time saver? I mean, if you die at a boss you have to go all the way back there to fight him again, so the game just saves you that time. Or am I missing something else? I guess the difficulty level is a valid argument, as if a game is too easy it can lessen the fun. But the game does look like nice, and the art style for its day was very good.

Instead of needing to rewind or restarting from a checkpoint you just get pulled up and you're back where you last touched solid ground.
I'm not sure if you can actually die in fights as it hasn't happened to me.
Sidenote: There is a epilogue chapter you won't be able to play. The DLC was never released for the PC version.
Doesn't seem like it really matters though as it arguably ruins the ending of the main game.

Good morning, lovely folks of the thread! I hope you are all doing well--or at least getting by okay--today.
The lady and I have both been up sick all night, not sure yet whether it's some sort of bug or food poisoning or what. Waiting for the doctor's office to open up so we can hopefully find out more. Holy cow, came on quick, whatever it is.
This weekend was pretty awesome. We had a movie day and watched the new(est) Star Wars movie, had a really nice dinner together, and I even went out and practiced driving a bit. Hoping to eventually get back to where I can at least drive to the grocery, maybe take myself to doctor visits now and then. Would make a huge difference. First time driving in about 6 years, but it went quite well. Just need to learn to focus a bit more and not to be distracted by anything/everything moving or shiny. ;)
I hope you all have a lovely day! I'll likely lurk more than talk today, and possibly nap more than lurk, but I wish you all a wonderful day :)
*big hugs and waves*

See anything you like from the weekly space promo?
