Still having trouble with chat? And the popup menu on people's avatars? (I am, on both counts.)
-waves back- =)

Yes to both those. It's all broken right now.

ddickinson: I think I had better try to get some sleep. I hope you all have a lovely rest of the day. And fingers crossed that your chat/forum problems are fixed sooner rather than later. Goodnight.

*goodnight hugs and sleepy waves*
Night Ds, sleep well.
Hello?

Oh good I've got the thread all to myself, time to put on some opera and make marsh mellow jello!

So knowledgeable people who are err...knowledgeable, what do you call the compilations of comics/graphic novels? You know, the kind where you could get (random example) the first 50 volumes or releases or whatever they're called of a comic book"

Yes, I know I can JUST google it, but googling doesn't usually lead to a conversation with friends now does it?

Save some Jell-o for me!

Depends. Companies market them different ways such as "Omnibus" or "X series". Generally, they're "collections".

Good evening. =)

You've got most of it to yourself. Turns out the game I'm playing is a time annihilator...

I think the word used for compilations of comic books is trade version.

Will do, it's only $5 a cup! :D

I'd completely forgotten the word "Omnibus" in this context, I remember it being used a lot when I had a brief flirtation with comics back a while ago. Thanks for the info!

Ooh, what game?

Thanks, I remember a friend calling them something like that but I wasn't sure since (to me, as an newbie) it seems like an odd name haha.

I picked up a compilation of Batman shorts/serials from the 40s tonight, as much as I like Batman I wasn't even aware they existed to be honest. I'll give 'em a watch soon, kinda excited about it too.

Thanks man, I knew you loved me. You're such a nice guy.

If you want to talk to somebody who knows about comics, seek out snowkatt. From what I understand, she's pretty high up there on the geek scale.

Still playing Danganronpa. About 6 hours in, just saw my first execution...
There's a fair bit of good stuff in this game, but the pacing is, well, shit.

Not a problem. I vaguely remembered, looked online to doublecheck.

That sounds cool. I can think of far worse ways to spend an evening. =)

ElTerprise: Looks nice. Thankfully your taskbar is not overcrowded :P
I like to pretend I'm doing lots of other things aside from playing games :P
And sleepy good morning everyone!

Wow these people are good! I wouldn't mind seeing them live! :)
A few beers, a cozy seat... *falls into daydreaming* ...

Thank you! :)
Hi again - I agree, I really liked them would be great to hear them live. Mark Lockhart was recently nominated for a big jazz award at Jazz FM, it's a good site to keep an eye on..
