I have edited this reply as it was chauvinistic and crude. Very funny though.

I love people who are too stupid for words. I can be hateful and not feel even the slightest twinge of guilt about it.

AgentBirdnest: Hey there, Ghost :-)
Hmmm... Very good point! But on the flipside, "gluten free" hasn't been around long enough to study long-term effects... so maybe in a few centuries, there will be some 461-year old people that stuck to a gluten-free diet their whole life ;-p
I do find it very silly when I find "gluten free" over-the-counter drugs. I don't really care about gluten when I'm already loading my body with weird chemicals that will probably make me lose sleep and hair ;-)
A "gluten-free" label means about as much to me as a "green" label.
Indubitably. Good points and flipsides indeed, Hmmm... Very good point! But on the flipside, "gluten free" hasn't been around long enough to study long-term effects... so maybe in a few centuries, there will be some 461-year old people that stuck to a gluten-free diet their whole life ;-p

it is a good thing to not abstain from thinking too much,
for fear of thinking too much... :P

After a day and half trying to get this DVR to set up properly and 3 calls to the manufacturer I finally got a tech smart enough to tell me that it simply WON'T DO what I'm trying to get it to do.
Even though the packaging clearly states that it will.
Fuck a duck.

The forum outside of this thread is reminding me of the first place on the internet I used to go.
What a pestilent cesspool it was. -laughs-

GhostwriterDoF: Greetings everyone, how goes the day, for you, morning, afternoon or evening?
All is well here for me, I can happily say, though my wallet may be empty, my heart is full. :)
<big waves and silly hugs for those that want them>
Welcome back ghostly ink slinger, it's been quite a while since I saw you haunting these demesnes. All is well here for me, I can happily say, though my wallet may be empty, my heart is full. :)

How oddly and conveniently timed your return to our communal conclave feels. A few days aog, I picked up once more some formerly abandoned works of creative fiction.
It's a fanfic.
Good God I've been writing a fanfic.
Why do I do this to myself?!
I'm more or less ok, Sharing your financial situation, the heart... less so.
----
And where is the evil-eyed-avian?
I must discuss with him matters of weird science and ray-gun totting adventurers strapped with rocket packs!

Aaaah yes, I remember 4chan. What a pestilent cesspool it was. -laughs-
Good tim—
Actually, you know what? No, they were NOT!

So; your thoughts on the rocket piloting heroes armed with strange ray-guns exploring alien and wondrous worlds?

Good heaven's, you've become the central character to your own works... ... Good God I've been writing a fanfic.

....
Well, consider it a practice run for developing your own material, to create the object of others'
desire to write fanfic about.... :P
It's good to see you too. Been haunting other places for awhile, now settling down to sling the ink,
and weave the books together.
Recently I've figured out a way to self publish, but I'm stuck with page limits of 820 pages max, and size-wise,
how big the book will be, is going to make pricing a bit tricky. I'm probably going with a 6 * 9 size.
I'm just at the beginning ten chapters of my books, and seeing that each book will be well over 800 pages,
closer to 1000, so no matter how I'm writing them, will have to break up book one and two into one through 4... heh!
The writing is coming along now that I have time without interruptions for the next few months,
the rough is taking shape into chapters page by page...
Doing well, keeping out of trouble, and at the moment in the mood for writing. :)
Been a bit busy lately and going out of my cave for entertainment instead of
foraging... social distractions are necessary from time to time, or else the haunts
will become too familiar and a Ghost may become too lost in time...

CarrionCrow: Cubicle 7 makes good games. If you have an interest in the genre, you could do worse, for more money.
