ElTerprise: Hey Crow :)
Quite good so far - what about you?
A few annoying odds and ends, but can't complain overall.

Good to hear that. :)

Any thoughts on the new releases? I think both seems interesting and i'll definitely give 1979 a try at some point. It's an unsual and fresh setting...
Good evening ! \o/
I'm done with my big work, woohoo !

Greetings oh lovely and great Owl!

Done with the big work, you say? It seems it is a good day then, turning your way...

It's some weird-ass caffeine-free sugar-free gluten-free happiness-free energy drink that my brother offered me. (It's just flavoured water.) I drank the Sumatra Dragonfruit flavour.
A little bit, yeah. Thanks.

Greetings Agent,

doesn't it make you wonder about gluten free things, in how we ever were able to survive
all these generations without gluten free products... or our species to survive all these
millions of years without gluten free food sources....

Not to mention, what do they put in, when they take out the gluten... :D

Not really going for either of those. I've got so much other stuff to play already.

Hey there, Ghost :-)
Hmmm... Very good point! But on the flipside, "gluten free" hasn't been around long enough to study long-term effects... so maybe in a few centuries, there will be some 461-year old people that stuck to a gluten-free diet their whole life ;-p
I do find it very silly when I find "gluten free" over-the-counter drugs. I don't really care about gluten when I'm already loading my body with weird chemicals that will probably make me lose sleep and hair ;-)
A "gluten-free" label means about as much to me as a "green" label.

EndreWhiteMane: Typical April, Yesterday was 23C, today is 4C. Chances of rain for the next 3 days, which is OK, we need it.
avatar
toxicTom: Since when are 'Muricans using Celsuis scale? O_o. Next you'll start to give metric units - where's the fun in that (not having to Google-convert every measurement)? ;-)
I think in metric or 'murican, just as easy either way. Though your system makes a lot more sense.
Figured I've give you 'you-rope-ians a break today. :-)

In that context I find the warmth and empathy of the people here amazing.

GhostwriterDoF: Aye, to all you say, and still, I feel that the neoliberal doctrine is so contrary to human nature, that it is eating itself, and empathy overall is winning out over greed. For what the future will hold, only time will tell.

The kindness and empathy here in the GoG Forum, is just a reminder
that our human nature is something to believe in, when all else may fail us.

:)
Agreed, too many people in the world just don't care anymore.

Editing out what I just said. Bad timing.

Will continue my thoughts some other time.

Not gonna happen, most of those people get elected for office if they aren't already there.

True. Very true.

CarrionCrow: Editing out what I just said, in case it ends up freaking out someone whose mental state I care about.
Will include another idle murder fantasy at a better time...
Good thing I already saw it, I hate posts were stuff was edited out ;-)
