I have honestly contemplated leaving the forums several times as it keeps degrading, but threads like this one and the mafia game keep me hanging around.

CarrionCrow: Yeah, it does. =)

Course, that's not how I'd actually do it, but it's a fun thought.
If I ever end up leaving, I'll just send a message to the people I've been talking with pretty much every day for roughly a year, if not more. It wouldn't be some public spectacle.
That is probably the best way. I think some users are just feeling fed up with some things on GOG and wanted to voice those views before/as they left.

And on a more pleasant note, how are you today?

moonshineshadow: I'll just post it here and in the CGA, that should be enough attention ;-)
A very sensible way to do it! ... Though I hope it never happens :'-|',','',',','','',',,'

I remember seeing some comments of yours on a few occasions about that, and I am very glad you stuck around. This place would definitely not be the same without you here.

EndreWhiteMane: I left a year ago and have remained blissfully ignorant ever since.
You did? So who the hell has been drinking all the beers out of the fridge and sitting in Endre's chair and reading all his "entertainment" magazines? o_O

*big silly hug*

Can't complain here. Still going back and forth on grabbing a couple things, but that's being countered by both my backlog and my tendency to not pay retail when I can avoid it.

How was your day?

Ixamyakxim: You're not thinking of leaving are you?
Not at all. This thread is quite pleasant, and full of really great people and friends. No reason to leave. (And in the 0% chance that I ever do leave, I'd still be active in chat.)

I haven't even made a GOGmix yet... I couldn't leave without doing that first ;-p

Ah gotcha! I haven't either - I can barely find them without links in thread or on the side of certain pages, despite asking how a few times. And for the life of me, I don't even remember the circumstances when and / or how I've seen them running up along the side of my screen.

That is good to hear. So you are planning to buy more games, are they good games or bad games? Did I read about you getting a game by the Huniepop people?

My day was not that great, but nothing to complain about. I am a little annoyed about my sleeping being all messed up still, but hopefully that will start to fix itself soon before it takes its toll on my health.

Yes, I did. Grabbed that as soon as it released. Just tired and can't concentrate for crap, so I'm waiting a little bit to give that one a more serious try.

They're both iffy. One might be good if it doesn't annoy/bore the hell out of me, the other might be good if they can manage to get at least some of the bugs out of it.

Wonderful. Messed up sleep is always fun...

I don't know how to find them either. Not using this site, at least. I just oogled "one-day games gogmix" (what I was looking for the other day), and there it was :-p
Oh joy, it's more Doom 3. Fucking expansion...

You sure do like some strange games. :-)
Is the new game another match 3 game?

I see your problem. Hopefully if you decide to get them they turn out to be on the good side.

I will be fine, I am finally starting to feel tired after the long day, so hopefully a few hours of sleep will have me feeling better and then I can just keep trying to get more and more sleep until things are back to normal.

No, it's totally different. It's a business simulator, no match-3 to it at all as far as I can tell.

It's the usual thing. Think I'll just wait on both. Siege of Dragonspear's probably going to need a few months to kill some bugs, and Danganronpa's too much of a "I could really end up hating this" to spend over 20 dollars on it.

I hope so too. The bad sleep thing gets so old, and you really need good rest so your recovery isn't affected too much by it.

What kind of business do you manage? Does it still have the slightly perverted undertones of the first game?

That sounds like a good idea. Those games are likely not going anywhere, so you have time to wait for a good sale, especially as you are not too sure.

Thank you. I wish I knew what set my mind off a little while ago to break my sleep, especially after I had it back to normal for the most part. I am sure it will settle back down again before it effects me too much.

It's managing a webcam porn business. So yeah, it's still got a similar overall tone to the first game.

Hell, I'm still fighting the urge to just grab a bunch of cheap stuff from GOG on retail, solely to make my list smaller. -laughs-

That's part of the "fun", that it can all go sideways even if you have no conscious reason you can think of to explain why it went wrong.
