ddickinson: But they are two different things. Many Americans thing they have little, but compared to even many European countries they have a lot. And California has the 5th biggest GDP if I remember correctly, so I would imagine their rich are nothing like what most Americans would class as rich.
The more the better. Such is the way of capitalism! Good ol' American greed! *sound of dollars*
That reminds me of some old military humor I heard about a WW2 vet who was advising people on how to identify unknown forces:
“If you encounter a unit you can’t identify, fire one round over their heads so it won’t hit anyone.
“If the response is a fusillade of rapid, precise rifle fire, they’re British.
“If the response is a ****storm of machine-gun fire, they’re German.
“If they throw down their arms and surrender, they’re Italian.
“And if nothing happens for five minutes and then your position is obliterated by support artillery or an airstrike, they’re American.”

All the time waving his flag and playing the US anthem. :-)
A similar quote used during both world wars was: "When the British shoot, the Germans duck, when the Germans shoot, the British duck. When the Americans shoot, we all duck." And from some of the sources, the "we all duck" part included the Americans ducking as well.
*big glad you are home safe hug*

Now, now. I'm only patriotic so long as I'm not rich enough to buy the country. THEN things change.
Besides, I'm the Puzzlemaster as well. I'd instead build the wall, sneak around to your side, and watch you struggle to get over it.
Sounds about accurate.

In the meantime you are too busy showing off that you forget I was digging underneath. So when you go around I fill in the hole and leave you outside. Trapped on the other side of the wall. :-)

American stupidity?
Overthinking it, thinking it's a puzzle?

zeogold: Which was the purpose of the thing. There's nothing on your side but a scarecrow in the likeness of omega64. As soon as I get on your side without you, I can pick clean anything you left behind (the tea, for example), and escape. omega64: What prevents him from just going around again? O_o

zeogold: The desire to escape from the fight. It'd be a shame to have to wrack the brains of poor DD like that, but alas, the puzzle gun shoots all equally... American stupidity?

I had better be making a move. It has been fun chatting with you lovely people, as always. Take care of yourselves, and have a pleasant rest of the day!

Don't tell him that, he might have another relapse. And if he does Nurse Ratched will have to lobotomies him... again. :-)

Well, I guess the one game that has the right combo of interest, price and confidence that it'll run on my system won't be showing up here day one. Time to grab it from an alternate vendor.
