omega64: The weird thing is I heavily dislike liquorice.
I guess the mixture is at a level you don't mind. It does sounds like an interesting one to try, maybe I will see if I can track some down to see what it is like.

EndreWhiteMane: Well, Moon Hunters is on my wishlist and BG expansion is off.
What a shitstorm that's turning out to be. :/
It is... is that an open invitation? :-)

And yes, what a nice launch BG turned out to be. I am glad I have the originals, the newer political ones seem like stuff I would not enjoy.

ElTerprise: Good afternoon everyone *big hugs and waves and 20°C*

Back from university - how are you all doing?
Good afternoon!

How was your day at university? Are you enjoying the nice temperatures?

*big hug*

No it's not, I need more games like I need a stubbed toe.
The remade editions are very nice so far, it's the expansion that the developer seems to have lost their way on.
References to modern day events in a game taking place in ancient times is simply inappropriate.

Okay, you are lucky you are so lovely. Otherwise I would have stubbed your toe and threw a gift at you. :-)

I like how the developers are apparently practically calling anyone who hates the game a bigot and that they hate the game due to them not accepting the times. Which is not what I have been seeing, I have been seeing gamers just wanting to enjoy a game, not have political propaganda poorly pushed on them with little thought to fitting the lore or universe it is set in.

Good afternoon DD *big return hug*
It was quite good - only had one economic geography class today which seems really interesting :)
Of course i'm enjoying those temperatures - it's about time :D

How are you doing?
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: I think you'll both be remembered, it's good to have you two in the thread. :-)

omega64: Famous last words. :p
Thanks though. Good to be here.
I personally prefer the last words of Pancho Villa:
"Don't let it end like this. Tell them I said something,"

That got a chuckle out of me. :-)

That is good to hear, about you being good and the class being interesting.

I have been better, trying to be more interactive and silly than I feel like being at the moment, but nothing to worry about.

zeogold: I'm in California, pal. Them's fightin' words in this here state.
avatar
ddickinson: Okay, I think I can manage that. Where do we meet for the fight? I promise to take it easy on you. :-)
But, we sell tickets. I want to at least make some money out this. Kicking a rich kids arse might be fun and all, but I have better things to do, so some money would at least make it worse while. :-)
Rich? I wish I was rich....
I got my trusty puzzle gun, though, so you might be out of luck.
avatar
omega64: Zeotrump.
avatar
ddickinson: That makes so much sense now when reading his many posts on the forum. :-)
I talk a lot, but my hair is still better.

Is that you wish you were rich in general, or rich for a Californian? :-)

Trust you Americans to bring a gun to a fight. :-)

Both.

That's 'cause we know how to win.

Thank you :)

Oh...sorry to hear that - hope you'll feel better soon - but i'm glad it's nothing to worry about :)

zeogold: Both.
But they are two different things. Many Americans thing they have little, but compared to even many European countries they have a lot. And California has the 5th biggest GDP if I remember correctly, so I would imagine their rich are nothing like what most Americans would class as rich.

By being a coward and bringing a gun to a good old forum fist fight? :-)

Thank you. I will be fine in a day or so, it is just the events of Sunday for the most part still playing on my mind. Nothing to worry about at all, it normally takes me a few days to begin feeling like my old self after such emotional days, but it was worth it to try to help those lovely poor girls.

*return hug*

You're welcome. Ah i see. Well that absolutely understandable :)

superstande: Ah, went to bed early again.
That sounds perfect! :)
Only problem is the backlog is getting ridicilous. But it's fun in the way that sometimes I remember a game I've bought and never tried, and it's kind of a happy thing to know I still have many good games to play :)

edit: yeah this is going well... I go to sleep and Crow replies. I get up, work, and come back and reply and Crow is sleeping ;)
That's the eternal pro/con of a crazy large backlog. But if you're still enjoying getting more games and your list isn't empty, keep going for it. =)

-laughs- Fuck it, I don't mind a conversation that goes four or five days, one post every 4 to 8 hours at a time. ;)
